Machine Gun Kelly has revealed why he wears a necklace filled with Megan Fox's blood.

The 31-year-old rapper first showed off pics of the necklace in an Instagram post on Valentine's Day, which contains a small droplet of the actress' blood.

Sharing a heartwarming snap of him and Fox hugging, he wrote in a caption to his 8.2 million followers: "I wear your blood around my neck. [sic]"

Take a look at this clip from his interview with Ellen in the video below:

Speaking with Ellen Degeneres on her talk show last week, Kelly opened up about the gothic romantic gesture. He explained: "She was actually going out of town to film a movie. This was really new in our relationship.

"I didn't have a passport either. So she was going out to Bulgaria, so I was kind of freaking out, like: 'You're gonna leave and I can’t even come see you'.

"Some people give, like, a handkerchief to their partner or whatever. She gave me her DNA."

The couple first met on the set of the movie Midnight in the Switchgrass, and their friendship quickly turned into something more following Fox's star's split from her ex-husband Brian Austin Green.

Fox opened up about their relationship in an appearance on director Randall Emmett's podcast, Give Them Lala... with Randall, stating: "I knew right away that he was what I call a twin flame.

"Instead of a soul mate, a twin flame is actually where a soul has ascended into a high enough level that it can be split into two different bodies at the same time.

"So we're actually two halves of the same soul, I think. And I said that to him almost immediately, because I felt it right away."

She added: "I asked him to come into my trailer for lunch, and I put him through all of this astrology stuff. I went deep right away. I knew before I even did his chart, I said to him, he has a Pisces moon. I could tell by his energy."
