There’s a new twist in the Joe Exotic tale. After the release of the wildly successful Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness, the series’ producers have revealed that a whole new episode of big cat chaos is coming to the streaming service on Sunday 12th of April. That’s Easter sorted.

According to an announcement made by Netflix on Twitter, the new special will be called 'The Tiger King and I', and will be hosted by comedian and actor Joel McHale. In a statement accompanying a promotional video clip, the streaming service added:
‘The Tiger King and I - a Tiger King after show hosted by Joel McHale and featuring brand new interviews with John Reinke, Joshua Dial, John Finlay, Saff, Erik Cowie, Rick Kirkman, and Jeff and Lauren Lowe - will premiere April 12’
Check out the full announcement video here:The original Tiger King series told the bizarre and shocking story of Joseph Maldonado-Passage, AKA Joe Exotic, and his lengthy feud with fellow big cat-lover Carole Baskin.
Over seven increasingly outlandish episodes, the show charts Joe Exotic’s rise and fall from one of America’s most colorfully eccentric zoo owners to convicted murder conspirator. With cameos from a cast of characters that wouldn’t look out of place if they joined The Injustice League, it’s the sort of series that really needs to be seen to be believed.
