As previously reported, the South Korean actress was found dead at her home on April 11, which was confirmed by a statement from her agency, Management S.
"We have to deliver very heartbreaking and unfortunate news. Actress Chae-Yul left us on April 11th," it read, as reported by MK News and later translated by Koreaboo. "According to the wishes of the bereaved family, who are in greater sorrow than anyone else, the funeral will be held quietly and privately."
A cause of death is yet to be announced, and the agency added that people should refrain from "refrain from spreading rumors and speculative reports" about Chae-Yul's death.
Just days before her tragic passing, the actress shared a heartbreaking post on her Instagram page where she informed her followers that she intended to start blogging more frequently - evidently unaware of the fate she would soon meet.

"Our Chae-Yul was very hardworking," he said while fighting back tears. "She was a deep-hearted and cool friend. In my opinion, it is hard to describe in words how amazing she was as an actress."
People have flooded the actresses' Instagram posts with heartfelt comments, as they rush to offer messages of condolence.
"I'll pray with both hands that you can rest in peace in a good place," one person penned, with a second adding: "I'm sorry rest in peace now until we meet again."

A third said, translated from Korean to English: "I love you [Chae-Yul]. I will pray for you to be happy in heaven."

The late actress was best known for her work in Zombie Detective and I Have Not Done My Best. As reported by the Independent, she was in the middle of filming the TV series Wedding Impossible. Following the tragic news, production of the show has been halted.
