Nick Cannon has confessed to getting the mothers of his 12 children mixed up when writing their Mother’s Day cards.
During Monday's (May 15) episode of The Daily Cannon, the 42-year-old comedian revealed that while he had the right intentions to pen "handwritten messages from the heart" for each of the women in his children's lives, it didn’t work out as planned.
"I thought it would be a really really good idea to show people how you really feel, write it down," Cannon told co-hosts Courtney Bee Bledsoe, Mason Moussette, and Abby De La Rosa - who is the mother of his twins Zion and Zillion and six-month-old daughter Beautiful Zeppelin.
"And then so when one baby mama reads the card about how I feel about the other baby mama…", to which Abby gasped at that confession and said "Wow".
Watch Cannon admit his mistake below:"I tried my best, I really did," the Wild n Out host continued, lamenting that he should have ditched the personalized notes and done "some generic s*** that everybody else got".
However, his co-host Bee Bledsoe didn’t let him off easy as she exclaimed: "No, if you would have focused, that wouldn’t have happened."
After the video was shared on the social media platform, many users took to the comment section to share their reactions to Cannon's blunder.
One user criticized him and wrote: "Every time he opens his mouth about this I get more disappointed in him. Damn Nick. Sad part is he sounding like he don't g**."
Another agreed and said: "The absolute crazy thing is he’s talking to a baby mama about it… and she’s sitting there smiling like she’s not hurt."
Meanwhile, one user stated that the TV host "tried" with his Mother's Day tribute and added: "There are those that don’t even say anything."
And, a second user remarked: "His not DATING none of his children's mother's, they have a mutual understanding so why would they take anything personal unless he says someone name."

It’s not hard to imagine a mixup with Cannon's wild family tree. The Masked Singer host has a dozen children across six relationships - starting with his 11-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan, with ex-wife Mariah Carey.
He also welcomed Golden Sagon, six, Powerful Queen, two, and Rise Messiah, seven months, with model Brittany Bell. He shares nine-month-old Legendary Love with Brie Tiesi, and seven-month-old Onyx Ice Cole with LaNisha Cole.
Cannon is also a father to four-month-old Halo Marie with Alyssa Scott. The couple also had a baby named Zen who sadly passed away from a brain tumor in December of 2021.
This also isn't the first time the musician has forgotten an important member of his family. During an appearance on The Howard Stern Show in April, he embarrassingly left out one of his kids when naming all of his children.
"You know their names? Everyone’s name?", Stern asked Cannon when questioning him about his children. "Of course, I can name all - of course!", the comedian promised but when he was tested, he left Onyx off the long list of names.
