Nick Cannon's got an answer for everyone that's questioning whether he'll be getting a vasectomy after having 12 children and his response was actually pretty hilarious.

On Saturday night, the 42-year-old appeared on CNN’s New Year’s Eve Live broadcast where he was quizzed on whether he'd be getting the snip after having so many kids in quick succession.

Speaking to hosts Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper, Cannon was asked questions about his family life following his recent announcement of the birth of his 12th child with model Alyssa Scott.

During the event, Cohen and Cooper asked the comedian whether he planned to have any more children.

"Clearly, I don’t have a plan," Cannon told the hosts. "Honestly, it’s really just so much joy and elation that I have for the family that I have and I embrace it and I love it, but I don’t have a plan. That should have been clear from the jump."

Cohen later questioned the Wild ‘n Out star on whether he might consider a vasectomy to which Cooper shook his head and chuckled.

"Is that what you want me to get?" Cannon snapped back.

"This is my body, my choice!", he jokingly added.

"Yes, yes, that is right! Good for you," replied Cohen.

The 42-year-old has been making headlines for the past few years, given his growing family situation.

He and Scott welcomed their second child together earlier this month.

Taking to Instagram, the model shared a sweet video about the arrival of their new bundle of joy on Thursday (December 29) and revealed that they have named their baby Halo Marie Cannon.

In the video, she also paid tribute to the couple's son Zen, who tragically passed away in December 2021 at just five months old with a rare brain cancer.

"December 14, 2022. Our lives are forever changed," the mother of two wrote in the caption. "Zen is in every breath I take. I know his spirit was with us in the room that morning. I know he is watching down on us.

"He shows me signs every day. I will hold onto this memory forever. I will remember the sound of Nick's voice saying 'it’s a girl' and the look of everything we’ve been through flash across his face," she continued.

"I will remember the sound of her crying out with her first breath and feeling her heartbeat against mine. My sweet girl, I got my surprise!!" she said, adding, "We love you Halo Marie Cannon!"

As well as Zen and Halo, the Wild 'N Out host shares sons Rise Messiah, 10 weeks, and Golden Sagon, five, and daughter Powerful Queen, 23 months, with model Brittany Bell.

He also shares 11-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan with ex-wife Mariah Carey, daughter Beautiful Zeppelin, six weeks, and twins Zion and Zillion, 18 months, with Abby De La Rosa.

Cannon is also a father to Legendary Love, five months, with model Bre Tiesi and daughter Onyx Ice Cole, three months, with model LaNisha Cole.
