Nick Cannon simply cannot stay out of the news lately... Unsurprisingly, he's talking about children again.
This time, he's not talking about the kids he has or will have but, rather, the kids he wished he had.
To quickly recap - Cannon, 42, is already a father to 12 children. He shares sons Rise Messiah, 11 weeks, and five-year-old Golden Sagon, as well as 23-month-old daughter Powerful Queen with model Brittany Bell. Model Brie Tiesi has five-month-old Legendary Love with Cannon, and model LaNisha Cole has a three-month-old daughter named Onyx Ice Cole with the TV personality.
He also shares three children with DJ Abby De La Rosa - seven-week-old daughter Beautiful Zeppelin and twins Zion and Zillion, 18 months. Model Alyssa Scott has a seven-month daughter to Cannon, Halo Marie. Their son, Zen, sadly passed away in December 2021 from brain cancer. Mariah Carey also has two children with Cannon, 11-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan. Phew!
Before being married to Carey - who mothered his first children - Cannon was in a public relationship with singer Christina Milian, 41.
In a recent interview with celebrity news site The Shade Room, the Wild N Out host revealed that one of his regrets was not having a child with his former flame - and admitted that the pair had talked about children before their split. "Everybody talks about having kids [in relationships]," Cannon said.
"If I say this, I know it's gonna go viral. But when Christina Milian and I were doing 'Love Don't Cost a Thing', I remember when I found out she was pregnant [years later] … I was like, 'Dang, man'. But I was so happy for her. I remember we [were] kids in love early on, and so we talked about that. But to each his own. Life plans it out. The universe gives it how it's supposed to be given," he continued.
Milian and Cannon dated from 2003 to 2005, with Cannon confessing in an interview in 2006 that he had cheated on his ex during their relationship - something Milian had discovered after hacking into his phone.
"I was wrong for not being what she wanted me to be. She knew from the jump. We were friends for months before we even got into it, and when we got into it, I was like … 'Yo, anything remotely like a relationship, I don't want no parts of it,'" he stated, via US Magazine.
In 2019, Milian spoke about her relationship with Cannon - telling E! News that she waited to confront him over his infidelity after returning from filming a project in Romania. "I was like, 'I cannot bust him when I am away. I need to bust him in person, so in the meantime, I'm gonna get my intel, make sure that this is for real for real.'
"And it was for real, so it was enough. … I wanted to be able to see him in person, go over it - not like it would change anything - but part of me was like, 'He was my first love,'" she recalled.
