Oscars viewers have been left baffled after seeing Ariana Grande at the prestigious event last night.
On March 10, we saw some of the world's greatest talents in the world of TV and cinema gather at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood to celebrate all the amazing content we've consumed over the past year, and let's just say that this year's Academy Awards did not disappoint.
Oscars viewers couldn't get over how different Ariana Grande sounded while announcing the winner for Best Song:
We saw Cillian Murphy take home the award for Best Actor for his performance in Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer while Emma Stone clinched the victory for Best Actress for her role in Poor Things.
As for Best Supporting Actor and Actress, Robert Downey Jr. and Da'Vine Joy Randolph won in their categories respectively, with both stars taking home their first Oscars ever.

While there were plenty of moments to talk about during the event, social media users have been fixated on one in particular and it does not involve any of the winners.
Instead, it involves one of the presenters.
Ariana Grande took to the stage with her Wicked co-star Cynthia Erivo to announce the award for Best Original Song, which was won by Billie Eilish, though fans couldn't help but point out their confusion at the 'Into You' singer's "new voice."

"Wtf happened to Ariana Grande??? I really thought everyone was exaggerating about her constantly changing personas. THE VOICE OMG THAT IS NOT ARIANA GRANDE #Oscars," wrote one user while another added: "Ariana Grande changed her voice again, huh? #Oscars."
A third also pointed out that her "Blaccent" was gone, writing: "Ariana Grande’s voice. Blaccent gone! #Oscar #Oscars #Oscars2024" alongside a laughing emoji.
Others even compared the singer to Austin Butler, who became the talk of the town back in 2022 when he took method acting a little too seriously.
"Someone needs to make Ariana Grande stop speaking in her Glinda voice. It's too soon for another Austin Butler situation," this user wrote.

Grande is starring as Glinda, the good witch, in the upcoming movie musical Wicked: Part One.
The movie, directed by Jon M. Chu, is a prequel set to tell the story of how the Wicked Witch of the West from The Wizard of Oz comes to be.
Speaking of the project, Chu told the excited crowd at CinemaCon 2023 back in April that "This movie has everything: giant musical numbers, big action pieces. And using a classic story you all know, The Wizard of Oz."
"At the end of the day, it's actually not about those things. It's about change and [how] it's necessary for things to get better," the director added.
Wicked: Part One is set to hit all major theaters on November 27 while Part Two is set to be released the following year on November 26.
