Ozark has been renewed by Netflix for a fourth and final 14-episode long season.
It's the news we didn't know we needed to get us through quarantine, although a potential release date for the final season has yet to be announced by Netflix.
The fourth season will be divided into two seven-episode parts, and it will follow the Byrde family as they undertake the final chapter in their transition from their suburban Chicago life to money laundering and criminal pursuits in the Ozarks.
Ozark begins with Jason Bateman's character Marty Byrde relocating his family so he can put his money laundering knowledge to good use working for a Mexican drug cartel.
However, Byrde's wife Wendy, played by Laura Linney, quickly gets involved in his crimes too.

The show stars Julia Garner as Byrde's consigliere, Ruth Langmore, while Sofia Hublitz plays daughter Charlotte Byrde and Skylar Gaertner plays son Jonah Bryde.
Meanwhile, Charlie Tahan portrays Ruth's cousin Wyatt Langmore, and Lisa Emery plays the local heroin distributor Darlene Snell.
Netflix captioned the announcement of the final season on Twitter: "They're going to go out with a bang. Ozark will be back with an expanded 14-episode final season."

Discussing the renewal of season four, Bateman told Deadline: "A super-sized season means super-sized problems for the Byrdes. I'm excited to end with a bang(s)."
Showrunner, writer and executive producer Chris Mundy added: "We're so happy Netflix recognized the importance of giving Ozark more time to end the Byrdes’ saga right. It’s been such a great adventure for all of us - both on-screen and off - so we're thrilled to get the chance to bring it home in the most fulfilling way possible."
In the meantime, the first three seasons of the hit show are available to stream on Netflix now.
