Parks and Recreation is returning for a special one-off charity episode during the lockdown.
It's the news we all needed during this time, and the episode, which is set to air on April 30 at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT on NBC, will raise funds for Feeding America’s COVID-19 Response Fund - an extremely worthy cause that is giving food banks in the US additional support during the pandemic.
This exciting news comes after the show's creator Mike Schur told Vulture that he knew exactly how Pawnee would deal with the coronavirus earlier this month, adding that Leslie Knope unsurprisingly "would've known the CDC protocols for social distancing already."
The show originally ran from 2009 until 2015.

In a statement cited by Rolling Stone, Parks and Rec creator Mike Schur said, "Like a lot of other people, we were looking for ways to help and felt that bringing these characters back for a night could raise some money.
"I sent a hopeful email to the cast and they all got back to me within 45 minutes. Our old Parks and Rec team has put together one more 30-minute slice of (quarantined) Pawnee life and we hope everyone enjoys it. And donates!"

Rolling Stone revealed that the episode would be set during the present day and follow Pawnee's attempts to stay in touch with her friends and colleagues during the lockdown.
Along with Poehler, cast members Rashida Jones, Chris Pratt, Nick Offerman, Rob Lowe, Aziz Ansari, Adam Scott, Aubrey Plaza, Jim O’Heir and Retta will feature in the episode. According to a press release "special guest stars from the Pawnee universe may pop in" too.
