A new social media post by Paula Abdul has left some of her fans feeling utterly bewildered.
The 60-year-old singer and dancer took to her Instagram page to share two new pictures taken on Christmas Day that had some of her followers scratching their heads.
The 'Opposites Attract' singer was at Paris Hilton's mother's party, and in the caption, she thanked Kathy Hilton for throwing "the most fabulous holiday party".
"Merry Christmas! I hope everyone is having a wonderful day relaxing, celebrating, and surrounded by friends and family," Abdul wrote. "Sending you lots of love and holiday cheer."
Check out Abdul's post below:In the photos, the 'Rush Rush' singer donned a dark green semi-sheer beaded dress as she posed with the 63-year-old socialite and other friends.
However, there was one aspect of the age-defying pictures that had fans scratching their heads as many commented that she looks completely unrecognizable.
One user declared: "Someone stole Paula’s Insta..that’s an entirely different face!"
Another wrote: "This looks like a completely different person."
A third commented: "What the hell is happening in these pictures? Surgery or filters?? Why can’t people just take a pic and be real?!"
A fourth said: "Wow. I don't understand this. Everyone knows what you actually look like. The amount of editing here is embarrassingly obvious."
However, some of the 'Straight Up' musician's 493,000 followers were just happy to enjoy the photos and applauded her for her apparent ageless look.
One user said: "Paula you look gorgeous!!! Forever in your 20s!!!"
While another remarked: "Merry Christmas Paula. You look fabulous."
A third also chimed in and said: "You look amazing lovie! I need your secrets!"
Meanwhile, Abdul's former American Idol co-star Simon Cowell also caused a stir on social media earlier this month for his ever-changing look.
In the now-deleted eyebrow-raising video - which was posted just months after he said he was done with Botox - the 63-year-old TV host encouraged people to audition for Britain’s Got Talent.
"I always say on this show, two or three minutes can change your life. And it has. And maybe this time it’s gonna be you," he said. "So please audition now for next year’s season and I look forward to meeting you."
However, some fans were more distracted by his face in the startling clip and compared him to a Madame Tussauds waxwork.
