Social media users have reacted after Millie Bobby Brown seemingly announced her engagement to Jake Bongiovi.
The 19-year-old Stranger Things star has been in a relationship with the 20-year-old actor - who is the son of rock singer Bon Jovi - for two and a half years now.
However, it looks like the pair decided to take their relationship to the next level as on April 11, Brown shared a black and white photograph of her wearing what appears to be an engagement ring on her left hand.
The teen actress posted their exciting news on Instagram with the sweet caption: "I've loved you three summers now, honey, I want 'em all."
Check out Brown's post below:The upload saw her beau wrapping his arms around his new fiancée while she placed her hands on his arm. Her diamond ring was in clear view as their romantic moment was caught on camera for all to see.
Brown's famous followers and fans flooded the comment section with congratulatory messages, with fellow Stranger Things star Amybeth Mcnulty commenting: "YESSSS!!!!!!!"
One fan remarked: "OMG YAY!!!! Jake Bobby Brown or Millie Bongiovi???? AAAAAAA can’t wait!!!!"
And another user hilariously wrote: "When teenagers are getting engaged and I'm just running a meme page."
However, several users were stunned by the news and concerned that the Enola Holmes actress is "too young" to be engaged at 19.
One person reacted: "Millie Bobby Brown is a bit too young to get married, marriages come with a lot of hardships it’s not something you can just rush into."
A second user interjected: "No offense, but Millie Bobby Brown is way too young to be getting engaged. Wtf."
A third user shared: "Millie Bobby Brown getting engaged at 19, she’s 3 years younger than me and I can’t even imagine getting engaged at 22, let alone 19. I am happy for her, but it is a little young haha."
The duo met on Instagram and were friends before it soon blossomed into a romance, with Brown revealing on the Web's Most Searched Questions: "We met on Instagram. And we were friends for a bit, and then, what can I say?"
They then went "Instagram official" with their relationship in June 2021 after the Damsel actress shared a picture of Bongiovi kissing her cheek.
Earlier this year, Brown indicated that their romance was flourishing into something more after she hailed the Sweethearts actor as her "partner for life" in a heartwarming Instagram post.
"Endlessly in love with the year I've had! grateful for my friends, family, donkey (Bernard), my doggies, my puppies teeth, and my partner for life," she sweetly penned. "Here's to another year with you and the wonderful people and animals around us let's do it again but better."
Congratulations to Brown and Bongiovi on their engagement!
