Pink's teaching her children the value of money at an early age as she's revealed her 11-year-old daughter Willow will be working for her on tour - and earning minimum wage.

The 'Just Give Me A Reason' singer, 43, has revealed that she is teaching her kids about the minimum wage and negotiating salaries by giving them a practical lesson.

While Pink's net worth is estimated to be around $200 million, she wants to ensure that her kids know the value of a dollar despite growing up with wealth.

She revealed on the Today show: "Willow has a job on tour. We just had to go over minimum wage and it’s different state to state."

The singer - whose real name is Alecia Hart - will also be taking her six-year-old son Jameson on tour with her too, though it will only be his big sister working.

Pink also revealed that she had to teach Willow about negotiation after she sweetly rounded down her nightly wage to make it "easier" to keep track of.

She explained: "I said it’s about $22.50 a show depending how long I go, if I run over. She goes, 'I’ll take $20. It’s easier to do the math.' I’m like, 'That’s not how you negotiate for yourself.' I’m like, 'You’ll take $25 so it’s easier math.'"

The 'Raise Your Glass' star, who shares her two kids with her husband Carey Hart, will be heading out on tour in support of her ninth studio album Trustfall.

She recently admitted that people had warned her that her career would be over if she had children, with some people in the industry encouraging her not to start a family.

"Everyone told me, 'If you have children right now, your career’s over,'" she said in an interview with Apple Music's Zane Lowe.

She added that the public perception of her changed from "a snarly, man-eating, angry, she-man," after she had her kids.

"When I had a child, I think it softened me to the world, the part that didn’t understand me, and I think that’s when my career began, really," Pink explained. "I mean, I did a lot of stuff before that, but really, truly, I think it’s when I started to really understand myself and understand the world and my place in it."

Her own difficult upbringing had also encouraged her to start a family of her own, as she added: "Having a family was really important to me because my family life was screwed as a kid, and I’m super affectionate and cuddly and goofy.

"Just doing music wasn’t enough for me, I was lonely. I was so lonely. It’s a very lonely business."

Pink's tour begins on June 7 in the UK, with her first stop in the US beginning in Cincinnati, Ohio, on July 26, and will continue until March 2024.
