Post Malone has been hospitalized and is having difficulty breathing one week after he suffered a brutal fall on stage while performing.

On September 17, the 27-year-old musician took a nasty fall during his show in St. Louis, Missouri, after his face and entire body slammed to the ground when he walked down a ramp and stepped into a stage door that hadn't been properly covered.

Taking to Twitter one week later on September 24, the 'Sunflower' singer - whose real name is Austin Richard Post - informed his fans that he went to the hospital after feeling "stabbing pain" while breathing.

"I’m having a very difficult time breathing, and there’s like a stabbing pain whenever I breathe or move," Malone wrote. "We’re in the hospital now, but with this pain, I can’t do the show tonight. I’m so f***ing sorry."

In a video shared by @MariettaDaviz on Twitter, Malone can be seen performing his song 'Circles' before taking the nasty fall. He is then seen in lying down excruciating pain and writhing on stage while medics rushed to him.

After being taken backstage by medical staff, the singer came out later to his fans cheering him on and was able to finish the set.

The next day (September 18), the 'Better Now' singer shared an update in a video posted on Twitter, saying how he had "just got back from the hospital" and that he was given "pain meds and everything so we can keep kickin' a** on the tour".

However, one week after the grueling fall, Malone revealed to his fans that he has been hospitalized again after he woke up to "cracking sounds on the right side of my body".

Due to the level of pain he's experiencing, Malone also announced that he is canceling his next scheduled date on the Twelve Carat Tour, and apologized to his followers for the cancellation.

He promised that their ticket would be valid for a rescheduled date, writing: "I’m so f***ing sorry. Everyone’s tickets for tonight’s show will be valid for the reschedule that we’re planning right now."

He added: "Once again, I’m so f***ing sorry, I love y’all so much. I feel terrible, but I promise I’m going to make this up to you," he concluded, adding, "I love you Boston, I’ll see you soon. "I’m so sorry, - Love Austy."

TD Garden - the venue where Post Malone was scheduled to perform at - had also shared a statement notifying fans that the show had been postponed.

"Tonight’s Post Malone show at TD Garden is being postponed due to unforeseen circumstances. Fans should retain their tickets to be used for a new date once it is announced," the statement read.

Here's wishing Post Malone the very best in his recovery.
