Ricki Lake has stunned fans after she re-created one of her iconic magazine covers after a major weight-loss transformation.
Taking to Instagram, the 55-year-old posted side-by-side photographs, one taken from 2007 and the other in 2024, showing the star donning the same iconic, red bathing suit that she did on the cover of Us Weekly.
"Then and now. 2007-2024," she wrote in the caption. "I held onto this #NormaKamali one-piece for all these years wondering if I would ever be able to wear it again."
Have a look at the post below:Thousands of fans took to the comments to praise the Hairspray actress.
"I love everything about you always. So beautiful in both and all the ways. But goodness this must feel great and invigorating!" wrote one user, while another added: "So beautiful thru all the ages & stages ! You’re such an inspiration @rickilake."
A third also agreed, writing: "You’re beautiful at any size."
However, not everyone was impressed with the post, with some accusing the star of using "cheat" methods to get to her size, though those comments were quickly shut down by others - and Lake herself had previously confirmed she'd done it using 'healthy' methods.
"Why can't anybody just be happy for her and not assume she did things to lose weight like surgery or meds," this user hit back. "Obviously she did something healthy for her that she's been able to maintain. I commend her! She is beautiful, and I could only wish I could achieve what she did. I've struggled with my weight all my life and feel the weight of society and the need to be a certain size. She is a beautiful person and doesn't need negative comments."
"She was beautiful in her Hairspray days and is beautiful now. Leave her alone," they added.

It comes shortly after Lake opened up about her health journey.
Earlier this week, the 55-year-old told fans that she and her husband were starting to make improvements in her life which led to the actress dropping 30lbs naturally.
"Hi friends. I’ve been wanting to share with you what I’ve been up to these last 4 months," she wrote in the caption of the post. "On October 26th, 2023 I made a commitment to myself to get healthier. My husband, Ross joined me in this effort. Together we have each lost 30+ lbs. I really want to share, because we did this without relying on a pharmaceutical. (Not that there is anything wrong with that.)"
She continued: "But neither of us were pre diabetic and both of us felt like we wanted to at least try and do it on our own. Being 55 and in perimenopause, I was a bit worried, that my body would not drop the lbs like it had in the past.
"I am so so proud of us. I feel amazing. I feel strong," she added. "I will go in depth in another post of what I did exactly, but suffice to say this is the healthiest way I’ve lost weight in all of my years."
In the post, she showed off some comparison pictures over the past few months.
Lake married her husband Ross Burningham in January 2022 after getting engaged a year earlier. The pair originally confirmed their romance in December 2020.
