Sam Asghari has come to Britney Spears' defense after Kevin Federline's recent claims about her teenage sons distancing themselves from her due to her nude Instagram pics.

The 44-year-old, who was married to Spears from 2004 to 2007, claimed that their two sons - Sean Preston Federline, 16, and Jayden James Federline, 15 - have chosen not to see her because of her racy Instagram photos.

In a statement shared on his Instagram story on Monday (August 8), Asghari expressed his continued support for the 40-year-old's "positive body image" and said that her sons shouldn't be ashamed.

He continued by saying that "even if there was truth" to the 'Toxic' singer's sons being ashamed of her suggestive snaps, it would be normal because teens are often "embarrassed" by their parents.

The fitness trainer wrote that the 'Toxic' singer is just expressing herself on her social media platforms now that her 13-year conservatorship has ended.

"Eventually if not already they will realize their mother's choices are harmless and an expression of newly found freedom," he said. "There is nothing to be embarrassed about just lots of things to be proud of."

He said that the teens are "very smart" and will be old enough to make their own decisions, adding that they "may eventually realize the 'tough' part was having a father who hasn’t worked much in over 15 years as a role model".

Asghari continued slamming Federline in another post by saying that his "gravy train will end soon" and that's why he is making claims against the pop star after a decade-long silence.

Federline recently took part in a bombshell interview set to air on the UK's ITV next week. The interview was about his relationship with the pop star, and in it, he claimed that their children have decided not to visit her, the Daily Mail reports.

He also alleged that Sean and Jayden didn’t attend their mother's wedding to Asghari in June because of her frequent nude Instagram posts.

Following the claims, the 'Baby One More Time' singer responded to Federline’s "hurtful" comments in a statement posted to her Instagram story.

"It saddens me to hear that my ex-husband has decided to discuss the relationship between me and my children," she wrote. "As we all know, raising teenage boys is never easy for anyone."

"It concerns me the fact that the reason is based on my Instagram … It was LONG before Instagram … I gave them everything … Only one word: HURTFUL," she added.

The former couple's feud continued on Thursday (August 10) after Federline shared videos on Instagram of Spears speaking sternly to her kids on Instagram after she claimed that they had acted "hateful" towards her when they visited.

The 'Lose Control' singer wrote in his caption that he can't "sit back and let my sons be accused in this way" after Spears took to her social media to criticize him in a new-deleted post for disclosing information regarding her relationship with her sons.

In the lengthy post, the 'Stronger' superstar made several claims and said that her former husband's house has "more weed than Ludacris, 50 Cent, Jay Z, and Puff Daddy combined" and that her teens were distancing themselves from her.

Spears concluded that the situation involving her sons "should have been 100 percent dealt with privately" and not online.
