Kevin Federline has hit back at Britney Spears by posting videos taken by their kids, telling her: "The lies have to stop."

The 44-year-old former professional dancer shared footage of the Toxic singer, 40, sternly speaking to her children on Instagram on Thursday (August 10), after she claimed that they had acted "hateful" towards her when they visited.

In the caption, Spears' former husband - who was married to her from 2004 to 2007 - wrote: "I can not sit back and let my sons be accused in this way after what they’ve been through."

"As much as it hurts us, we decided as a family to post these videos the boys took when they were 11 & 12," he added. "This isn’t even the worst of it. The lies have to stop. I hope our kids grow up to be better than this. #NeverFearTruth".

Watch the video below:

In one video, the 'Baby One More Time' singer argued with one of her boys over skincare, telling him: "This is my house, if I wanna come in here and give you lotion for your face because it is coarse, and all you tell me is 'it's fine, it's fine'. No it's not fine."

"You better all start respecting me, are we clear? You all need to start treating me like a woman with worth. I am a woman, ok? Be nice to me. Do you understand?" she declared.

In another clip, Spears said to her son Sean Preston Federline, 17, that she was "shocked" he didn't wear footwear to an ice cream shop in Alaska and told him she was seizing his mobile device over it - which sparked an argument between the pair.

During the car journey, the pop star said: "Have you lost your f****** mind? I do care but I'm shocked as f*** with you. I don't know what to do. And I'm shocked with you because you're weird and going through puberty. I don't know what to say."

"But I do care more than you know. Sometimes I just don't know what to say with you," she said, before Sean, responded: "My phone is going to be taken away, you know what Jayden? Mom decided to take it away for not wearing shoes."

Her other son, Jayden James Federline, 15, was asked for his opinion, and he hit back by saying: "What I seem like in my mind you just care about yourself, but you won't let us speak one word".

The videos come after the 'Stronger' superstar took to her social media to criticize her ex - in a new-deleted post - for disclosing information regarding her relationship with her sons after his decade-long silence.

In the lengthy post, Spears made several claims - including Federline's home having "more weed than Ludacris, 50 Cent, Jay Z and Puff Daddy combined" and that her teens were distancing themselves from her.

She said that the situation involving her sons "should have been 100 percent dealt with privately and definitely not online" and acknowledged that she may have tried too hard to make her kids love her on their visits to see her.

Spears wrote that when the teens told her earlier this year that they "may come here less," she understood it because "they have their own thing going on", but revealed that she felt they were "being pretty harsh".

The singer then added that she told Federline about that conversation, to which he responded: "I would never let them make that decision on their own…I would never do that to you."
