Can you believe it has been one year since HBO's insanely popular fantasy drama Game Of Thrones came to an end?

For eight seasons, the entire world was captivated by brother/sister relationships, the undead, firebreathing dragons, and stunning CGI battle scenes. However, what made the show so captivating was you never knew who was going to be bumped off next.

In the first season, Lord Eddard Stark was established as a hero we could all get behind - only to have his head cut off by Ser Ilyn Payne under the orders of Joffrey Baratheon. Seriously, if you hadn't read the books, this was a shock.

But perhaps the most sickening and shocking death of them all was that of Princess Shireen Baratheon, the daughter of Stannis and Selyse Baratheon, and best friend to Ser Davos Seaworth.

Shireen's kind nature made her a fan-favorite with Game of Thrones viewers, so when she was burned alive by the orders of the Red Woman Melisandre, we all kinda kicked off a bit (and by a bit, I mean A LOT):

But perhaps we can find comfort in the fact that the actress who played Shireen Baratheon is safe and well.

One year after the Game of Thrones finale, fans have been left stunned at seeing actress Kerry Ingham all grown up.

The British star was just 14 years old when we last saw her on the show, but the now-20-year-old is all grown up and looks a lot different (probably because she doesn't have half of her face covered in Greyscale).

It's no surprise that the star has amassed over 360,000 followers on Instagram, having also gained many fans in her role of Rebecca 'Becky' Sidebottom in the Netflix series Free Rein.

Speaking to The Geekiary about her time on the show, Igham revealed what she learned working with veteran actors Liam Cunningham (Davos) and Stephen Dillane (Stannis), revealing:

"It was amazing because they are two completely different actors. Liam can switch in and out of character and that’s easy for him because his character isn’t too serious; whereas Stephen’s character is a lot more complex. He is a method actor so he will be in character from start to finish of the day.

"It’s really interesting to see to the two different kinds of actor that you get and being able to work with them because they are both unique in their own way."

Ingham also opened up about her thoughts on her death scene, saying: "I guess from the moment I knew about the scene, I knew the reaction it was going to get. I was very interested to see how the reaction was going to play out, whether people would be mad about it for a long time, for short time or just forget about it. I think the overall reaction was good for me."

Trust me, Kerry, I still cry for Shireen every night...
