Sophie Turner and Taylor Swift, who’ve both had relationships with Joe Jonas, have been photographed having a girls' night out in New York.
On Tuesday night (September 19), the 27-year-old Games of Thrones actress was spotted arriving at the Italian restaurant, Via Carota, with 33-year-old 'Shake it Off' hitmaker.
The pair looked delighted to be in each other's company, as they linked arms and smiled while making their way through the crowded pavement in the Big Apple.
For the special occasion, Swift showed off her early fall style by donning a rust-colored dress which she layered with an oversized, denim jacket. Meanwhile, Turner opted for a pair of loose-fitting, dark gray trousers, and a black sweater tied around her waist.
Check out Swift and Turner below:It seems like the duo had plenty to discuss over their meals since they share an ex, as the Grammy-award winner notably dated the 34-year-old Jonas Brother from July 2008 until their split only a few months later in October of the same year.
The 'Fearless' singer famously revealed during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that Jonas ended their short-lived romance during a 25-second phone call.
Meanwhile, the 'Burning Up' musician's relationship with Turner was much more recent and serious as the ex-couple began dating in 2016, tied the knot in 2019, and went on to welcome two daughters - three-year-old Willa, and a baby girl born in the summer of last year.
But, just two weeks ago, Jonas and Turner mutually decided to call it quits after four years of marriage, telling fans that they have ended things "amicably".
The stars took to Instagram on September 6 to release a joint statement confirming the news, penning: "Statement from the two of us. After four wonderful years of marriage, we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage."
Sources claimed the now-exes clashed over their "very different lifestyles" - alleging that Turner "likes to party" while "he likes to stay at home," per TMZ. Whatever the reason, the parents of the two insisted their divorce was a choice they made together.
"There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children," Jonas and Turner concluded.
Nevertheless, Swift and Turner's shock outing delighted plenty of fans on social media as one user wrote: "They had the opportunity to do the funniest thing and they took it."
Another commented: "Oh Joe Jonas, your days are numbered!", while a third remarked: "NOT THE EX GIRLFRIENDS GETTING TOGETHER."
A fourth captioned the picture: "Not picture me thick as thieves with your ex-wife," referring to lyrics from Swift's song 'Vigilante S**t' from her album Midnights.
Turner is a long-time Swiftie and has previously expressed her support for the singer, even appearing to poke fun at the song 'Mr. Perfectly Fine' - a Vault track widely believed to be about Jonas from the songstress's re-recorded album Fearless (Taylor’s Version).
The Dark Pheonix actress shared the song on her Instagram Stories, writing: "I mean it’s not NOT a bop," and Swift even re-shared, adding: "Forever bending the knee to the [queen] of the north."
