WNBA star Sophie Cunningham is back in the news after one of her stunts at an Indiana Fever game went viral.

During a pregame shootaround, she can be seen going over to the person, who is filming from the bench, pretending not to notice them.
She then slowly pulled her sweatpants down, briefly showing off her backside in compression shorts to the camera.
Cunningham swiftly pulled them back up, laughing and pointing at the camera before continuing her shootaround.
Many have suggested that she could be handed a suspension for inappropriate conduct, though many others believed it to be a playful gesture.
It was one of the most random moments of the night, though hundreds of thousands of sports fans have now viewed the footage.
The veteran has been through several controversies in the past, though her humor always seems to shine through, which explains her loyal, growing fanbase.
Some have called for stronger measures from the WNBA to prevent similar instances from happening.
Many took to the comments to share what they thought, as one disgruntled user wrote: "This not funny got little girls watching Sophie.."

While some weren't impressed with the star showing off her butt in front of families and kids in the crowd, others saw the funny side of things.

The posts were shared by an account impersonating the star, though, but this didn't stop it from going viral on X.
Earlier this season, Cunningham pointed at DeWanna Bonner during a heated June 2026 game after Bonner told her, "don't point at me" while questioning a referee.
Cunningham kept pointing silently for nearly 30 seconds without saying a word, getting on Bonner's nerves as she needed to be held back from getting physical.
The moment would go viral, becoming a meme among Fever fans.
She also controversially claimed recently that she wants to 'protect young girls' from 'biological men' in sports, following the same train of thought as Enes Kanter Freedom, who was kicked out of a WNBA game after declaring for the league's draft, identifying as a woman.
