For many, decorating, often to the extreme, is all part of the fun of the holiday season. The bigger the tree and the more extravagant the lights, the better. After all, if you're lucky enough to have your street turn into a Winder Wonderland, it's only natural to feel a little competitive.
And if you happen to fall into this Deck the Halls category, the answer to all your festive prayers might be found at Target.
Now, before we get to it, a moment of silence for one of the greatest movies of all time, Elf.
It follows the story of Buddy, an unusually large elf, who, after discovering that he is, in fact, a human, goes on a hunt to establish a relationship with his cynical businessman of a father.
It's a movie that reminds everyone that even if you have as little Christmas spirit as Zooey Deschanel's character, if you get a job as a department store elf alongside an actual elf, you might get so into Christmas that you end up moving to the North Pole.
But don't worry if that's not possible for you (I mean, real elves are pretty hard to spot) because Target's got your back in the form of an inflatable Buddy the elf. Costing a reasonable $50, the decoration measures seven-feet-tall.
Now, I don't know about you, but if a giant inflatable Buddy showed up in my neighbourhood, I'd be as green as his elf suit with envy.
Naturally, Target chose to make the decoration in one of Buddy's most iconic poses: a face of excitement that he pulled at the mention of Santa.
Now, if that isn't a way to spread the holiday cheer this Christmas, I don't know what is!
