Chloe Bailey, a singer and prominent vegan, was left in tears after accidentally eating meat for the first time in 10 years.

The singer and her sister, Little Mermaid star Halle Bailey, were given the wrong burgers at a hotel in a blunder that saw them eat meat for the first time in over a decade.

During a TikTok live, Bailey recalled the story for her fans.

"So I called to get a Beyond burger for sis and I like usual. Specified that it’s vegan, no butter on the bun, nothing like that," she said.

Check out what she had to say about the incident:

The 'Don't Worry 'Bout Me' hitmaker was apparently in the shower when the burgers arrived, and was immediately questioned by her younger sibling when she returned to the bedroom.

She continued: "She’s eating the burger and she’s like, 'Are you sure this is Beyond?' She took a couple of bites and she said, 'This is really good, you sure it’s Beyond?'"

Bailey was adamant that she ordered the vegan option.

"I touched the patty and smelled it and was like, 'Of course, it’s Beyond, yeah," she said.

However, after taking a bite herself, she quickly realized that it was a meat dupe.

"So I finish getting dressed, I take a bite and the juice dripping from the burger is not like a Beyond burger. I just knew it was not a fake burger," Bailey said. "The one bite I took and I just knew. Immediately I said, 'This doesn’t feel right.'"

The only logical thing to do was to ring the front desk where she had initially placed the order and get them to lay their worries to rest once and for all.

"I said, 'Ugh, these are vegan burgers right?' He said, 'No, they’re brand burgers,'" she recalled. "I said, 'Brand burgers? I said Beyond burgers.' I don’t even know what a 'Brand' burger is."

Naturally, the star was not pleased to learn such a crucial mistake had been made.

"Immediately I’m losing my s***. I gobbled down a whole can of Sprite."

And apparently, her sister found the entire thing hilarious.

"Halle’s laughing at me because I’m crying. This is right before the concert yesterday. I’m crying, Halle’s just laughing so hard at me because I’m freaking out," she added.

While Halle might have taken the situation lightly, other fans, who are clearly fellow vegans, didn't.

After the video was posted to Twitter, fans took to the comments to express their opinions on the issue and let's just say, they were not impressed.

"Bruh!! That happened to me a few weeks ago but thankfully I can't stand the taste of real meat anymore and after one bite spit it out. Lol I ordered a impossible burger and they gave me the wrong order. Lol I was pressed. Vegan for six years and I was stressed. Lol," wrote one user.

"I’m surprised they both didn’t get sick," added another.

A third stressed how important the issue is for vegans, writing: "Omg you just don’t understand the pain unless you’re vegan."

Others couldn't help but focus on Halle's reaction to the entire ordeal.

"Lol Halle saying 'this is really good, are you sure it’s Beyond' does not help that company AT ALL," wrote one person, while another added: "One thing about Halle she gone laugh at her dramatic older sister. I just love how she probably calmly threw her burger away and Chloe is practically dying running around drinking sprite."

And this user referred to the actress as a "half-vegan."

Speaking to Complex in 2017, the Little Mermaid star explained why she and her sister decided to quit their meat-eating habits.

"Being vegan started from our mother," she told the outlet. "One day she was like, 'I’m gonna try to be vegetarian for a week. You can join me if you’d like.' We started the week with her and just never went back."
