7-Eleven are giving away free slurpees all week
It's finally summertime and you're lazing in the heat wondering how life could possibly get better.
It seems undoable, right? Well, life has a funny way of making the impossible, possible - and this time we owe it all to 7-Eleven.
On July 11, the convenience store will be handing out free Slurpees to celebrate 7-Eleven day.
That's right, you can get your choice of small Slurpee at your local shop, whether that be the old classic Wild Cherry Fanta or the new and exciting Blueberry Lemonade Slurpee.
The offer is limited to one small Slurpee per person. But the fun doesn't end there - 7-Eleven are promising a second free drink if you download the 7Rewards app.
If you use the app to scan your free 7-Eleven Day Slurpee, a coupon for a Slurpee of any size will be waiting for you inside the app. You can cash it in in a participating store anytime in the next 30 days while stocks last.
Free Slurpees can also be delivered to your door on July 12th through the 7NOW app.
The big bosses of the Japanese-American international chain of convenience stores, which is headquartered in Dallas, Texas, are going all out for their big celebration, with many more deals on offer for customers.
On 7-Eleven Day, you also have the opportunity to snatch a $1 Jalapeño Cheddar or 1/4 lb Big Bite Hot Dog, or any pizza slice for $1. At this rate, we're never going to leave the store.
The supermarket first started selling Slurpees in 1965, under the name Icees. By 1967, the name was changed to Slurpee, and the drink has become a practically iconic fixture at 7-Eleven ever since.
According to the franchise, each year approximately 7.3 million gallons of Slurpees are consumed worldwide - enough to fill 12 Olympic-sized swimming pools.
Don't all get brain freeze at once now.
