The ongoing coronavirus pandemic has thrown many of our potential travel plans into disarray this summer.

Indeed, even as flights to European destinations began taking off from England, a two-week period of quarantine for travelers returning to the country from Spain was announced.

As such, many of us are probably thinking about taking a staycation this summer, in lieu of a holiday abroad. After all, if you luck out and get a good week of weather, home can be thoroughly enjoyable during the warmer weather.

You can enjoy a cookout, go for socially distanced trips to interesting local locations, enjoy parks and get to know your neighborhood better.

And if you are thinking about keeping things local for a staycation this summer, then several companies are jockeying for position with products to make the whole thing a little more exciting.

Aldi and Lidl both previously announced that they would be selling bargain hot tubs for customers to enjoy in the outdoors this summer. And now Aldi is selling a 10ft outdoor pool - perfect to enjoy during a staycation or warm weekend over the summer!

The official product description reads;

"Cool off this summer with this Intex Quick Up Pool 10FT. The easiest pool to set up ever, it builds itself as it fills up with water, so there's no need for poles, supports and technical fiddling! With a capacity of approx. 3858 litres this pool is a fantastic way for you and the family to all enjoy splashing around in the water on a hot summer's day. Easy to drain and store, this pool won't take up loads of room when not in use."

And at just £29.99, the 10ft pool looks like an absolute bargain. Personally, the appeal of it essentially setting itself up is also a major draw, as I can barely put a tent pole together without falling over backwards and snapping it.

If you want to read more about the pool, you can see the official product page on Aldi's website, here.
