Most days we're happy to grab a cappuccino, latte, or even just a black coffee for our morning kick of caffeine. Other times, it's worth sprucing it up and making the exchange more of an event, by forking out for something a little more special.
Starbucks' Frappuccinos are a staple at this point, and it doesn't take much for people to turn out in droves for them when the summer hits. Though we're not quite in the summer season yet, the coffee chain are giving us reason to grab one with their new Happy Hour. For today only, you can get 50% off Frappuccino blended drinks, as long as their size grande or larger.
Excluding those pre-bottled Frappuccinos, the Happy Hour starts at 3 pm and runs into closing time at participating locations across the country. So how do you cash in on this deal?
First of all, you need to download the Starbucks mobile app, and sign up for the rewards program (if you're not a member already). Deals like this are exclusive to the app, but it's free to sign up for the rewards program still. Once you download the app, there will be an offer in your inbox you can show to the barista when you pick up your cheap Frappuccino!
If you're uncertain which to pick, this deal is coming at the perfect time for you to see the return of an old favourite. The S’mores Frappuccino returned at the end of April, after being first introduced in 2015 (before disappearing for a while).
Now it's back in the United States and Canada, combining marshmallow-infused whipped cream and a milk chocolate sauce with "a creamy blend of Starbucks coffee".
