On each of my birthdays (January 9, if anybody was wondering), I get a lovely phone call from my mom who proceeds to tell me how my birth was a miracle and she's so happy she brought me into this world. And after 27 years, I used to believe all that spiel, until I read about this incredible birth.
I'm not usually a person who believes in "fate", but after reading this child's story, it's hard not to believe the stars did not align for baby J’Aime Brown.
Check out their incredible story in the video below:

In an astounding set of coincidences, this little girl from Missouri was born on July 11, at precisely 07:11 pm, weighing 7 lbs and 11 ozs, ABC News reported. And due to the fact this special little girl was born on the greatest US holiday of the year - 7-Eleven Day - the store chain decided to honor her with an incredible gift.
Now only were J’Aime’s parents - Rachel Langford and Johntez Brown - delighted to received a lovely hamper from 7-Eleven, containing adorable onesies, diapers, and other thoughtful gifts, but the convenience store giants also helped take a huge worry off Rachel and Johntez, with an incredible gift of $7,111 to put towards J’Aime’s college fund, CNN reports.

Any parents out there or anybody who's ever been to college will know first-hand how much pressure this amazing gesture will take away from the parents. "I was completely shocked," she told CNN. "I kind of just freaked out. It's hard for anybody to even get a trust fund for their children. To get a blessing like that, it just helps a lot."

And in another amazing turn of events, the parents say that J'Aime mostly eats and sleeps and doesn't cause much fuss at all: "Since the baby's been here, strangely, we've been calm, getting more stuff done. We've been feeling really good."
If I was these lucky parents, I'd go out and buy a lottery ticket!

Every anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, it is important that we take the time to reflect on the tragedies of that day, and to remember the near-3,000 innocent victims who lost their lives. However, the most recent anniversary also gave people the opportunity to celebrate what is being described as a "miracle".
At a hospital in Tennessee, a baby girl by the name of Christina Malone-Brown was born. In an incredible series of chances, she was brought into the world on 9/11 at 9:11pm and weighed 9lbs 11oz, CNN reports.
At 8:55pm on Wednesday evening, Cametrione Malone-Brown was rushed into the delivery room for a C-section. Sixteen minutes later at 9:11pm the cries of a newborn Christina were heard.

Dad Justin Brown was in disbelief and even more stunned when his daughter was placed on the scales where she weighed 9lbs 11oz.
Confirming the news on the Methodist Healthcare Facebook page, representatives from the Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown Hospital announced:
"On 9/11 at 9:11 p.m. weighing 9 lbs. 11 oz., Christina Brown made an unforgettable entrance into the world last night at Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown Hospital!
"Christina's mom Cametrione Malone-Brown shared, '...we had emotions and we felt it. Then 18 years later on that day 9/11, you find triumph; you find a piece of joy from a day that was so drastic and still hurts.'"

Speaking to CNN, Justin said:
"We have a true 9/11 baby. Time was just rolling then all of a sudden we heard the 'wah' and then they called it 9.11. Then they got her on the table and said 'Oh my God, she weighs 9 11.
"[The delivery doctor] was so excited and said this is a 9 11, 9 11, 9 11 baby."
Officials at the hospital have confirmed that Christina is in good condition and is expected to be going home in a few days.
Earlier this year, retailers 7-Eleven provided a newborn baby with $7,111 for a college fund after it was born on 7/11, at 7:11pm and weighing 7lbs 11oz.

We've all forgotten birthdays before - but not many people have forgotten the day their own child was born.
Well, one mom has now revealed that she has been celebrating her son's birthday on the wrong date for the last two years.
The mortified mother took to TikTok to share her blunder with her 1.3 million followers.
Emily Vondy - who goes by @thevondyfam on the platform - posted a video explaining the situation last week.
"Here’s a little story to allow all the moms of littles out there to maybe feel a little better about yourself," she began, before launching into what had happened.
Check out her hilarious video below:Despite Emily's insistence, the insurance company was saying that her son's birthday was in fact a day earlier on February 25.
The mom's immediate reaction was to ring up the company and give them a piece of her mind. But before she let them have it, Emily thought she had better just double-check.
"Maybe I should scroll back on Facebook to look at the birth announcement years ago - to make sure," she said.
"His birthday is in fact the 25th," Emily announced, even showing a screenshot of his birth post for proof.
"For two years I’ve been celebrating his birthday on the 26th," she exclaimed with her face in her hands. "And now I have to call my pediatrician back and say 'hahaha, you know what - I had my kids birthday wrong.'"
She then hilariously added: "You want to know the worst part? It’s my middle child."
Emily ended the video by saying she now has a mommy date with her middle child, before shouting: "I love my kids!"
"They may not have their birthday celebration on the correct day but they celebrate it the next."
The video - which has racked up over 3.5 million views - certainly made other parents feel better, as they took to the comments section to share their own blunders.
"I got flustered one day when someone said I had a handsome baby boy and asked his name. I said Ron. Her name is Harper. It’s hard out here," wrote one user.
"I spelled my OWN NAME wrong on my child’s birth certificate," added another.
"Hand painted a plaque with footprints for 2/24/09. He was born on the 23rd," commented a third hapless parent.
Parents, it really is true what they say; there is no manual to this parenting malarkey!

A mom-of-three was left in tears after a kind stranger decided to pay for her grocery shopping when she was short on a few dollars.
Beth Nelson from the Manchester area in the United Kingdom took to TikTok to recall an interaction that happened between her and a stranger while the pair were at the grocery store.
After realizing she didn't have enough money to cover her weekly shop, which totaled up to £41.65 ($50.55), the distressed mom was left compromising on the things she would need for her children when a good samaritan approached her.
"I was doing the food shop today... and this is all we've got for a family of four for a week," Nelson said through tears as she showed her followers a counter filled with everyday necessities.
"I got to the till and I didn't have enough... and people were staring at me," she continued. "I was trying to decide what do we need more than something else and somebody came forward and paid the extra."
The mom-of-three then stated that the woman had also said that she "wants a word with [her] outside," to which Nelson thought that she was going to be berated, but instead, it was quite the opposite as the stranger offered her some kind words instead.
She even gave her a bit of extra money to help her through the week before offering her a big hug.
"The woman was really nice," Nelson said, after re-composing herself. "She gave me a massive hug and said that she had been in the same position before. She reminded me that just because I am struggling at the moment does not mean that I am a bad mom."
Have a look at the full video below:Hundreds of TikTokers took to the comment section to also offer their kind words to the emotional mother.
"That lady was there for a reason, I guarantee your chance will come along to be that Lady," wrote one user while another added: "I know this too week, I have to make £20 stretch for me and my son every week. I go without so he doesn’t, you’re a great [mom] doing her best."
"You are NOT a bad mom, things are so hard right now, the struggle is real, you're not the only 1 so don't ever think u are less than, chin up, big hug," commented a third.
And this user told Nelson not to think she's a bad parent: "Please NEVER ever think your [sic] a bad mom for struggling. You are doing your best for your family & that is all you can do."
"Bless I’m in that position myself and I’ve still paid for an old man’s shopping who had pennies in his hands. Cost of living crisis is killing us," said this TikToker.
The United Kingdom is currently seeing an overwhelming cost of living crisis ever since 2021 which means that the cost of everyday essentials like food and bills has been increasing more quickly than the average household income.
According to Crisis, this current environment combined with existing issues such as rising rents, low wages, and a lack of affordable housing has "created a perfect storm for people who were already struggling with unrelenting pressure."

Childbirth is the process through which one or more babies leave a woman's uterus through vaginal passage or Caesarean - you know what? Nope. I don't want to think about this. It's super gross. And sounds super painful. Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's the miracle of life. Pass. I'd rather talk about how many Netflix accounts watched Bird Box in a week!
However, on December 12, there was one remarkable birth at the Arlington Memorial Hospital in Arlington Texas. Jennifer Medlock delivered a 14lb 13oz baby boy, which is roughly twice the size of the average newborn. A spokesman for Texas Health service told USA Today they believe he is the biggest child born at the hospital.
The boy, named Ali, measures 21 inches in height and was delivered through C-section. Doctors discovered that due to his large size, he had low blood sugar platelets. After spending some time in the neonatal intensive care unit, Ali rapidly recovered. He went home on December 19, just time for Christmas.
Jennifer said she that expected Ali to be large, because her first child, two-year-old Annabelle, weighed about nine pounds, ten ounces at birth. However, she never anticipated her second child would be a record-breaking size. "We did not expect 14 pounds - nobody did,"she stated.
Jennifer is only five-foot-three, so maybe those 'big' genes come from the other half. Her husband, Eric, a music teacher, told the Star Telegram, "We have a lot of six-foot-five-inch giants in our family." Well, that explains it!
According to the Guinness Book of World Records, the largest baby born in the United States weighed an incredible 22 lbs. The parents - 7 ft 11 in Anna Bates and 7 ft 9 inch Martin van Buren Bates - were giants that worked as performers in the traveling circus. Celebrated for their height, they were known as "The Tallest Married Couple."
When Anna's water broke, she lost an astonishing six gallons of fluid. But sadly, the baby died after just 11 hours. His father wrote, "He was 28” tall, weighed 22 lbs and was perfect in every respect. He looked at birth like an ordinary child of six months." The child had no name, and was known simply as 'Babe.'
Congratulations to Jennifer and Eric Medlock on a healthy childbirth. Maybe if you have another enormous kid, you can name him after Rubeus Hagrid, the half-giant, half-human gamekeeper in the Harry Potter series. And if it's a girl, you could name her after Olympe Maxime, the half-giant, half-human witch and Headmistress of the French magic school Beauxbatons!
I wonder how childbirth works in the Harry Potter series. Healing charms? Midwives? Do doctors just flick their wand and say "Accio baby?" That sounds fun! (And less gross and painful.)

It's no secret that going to a hospital in the US often means being left with a humungous medical bill, something a new mom has found out the hard way after sharing the obscene cost she was charged following the birth of her baby daughter Kimmery.
Jenny - who runs a family YouTube channel with her husband Josh that boasts over 150,000 subscribers - shared a video to the pair's 2.2 million TikTok followers of herself reading aloud to her husband the figures on their latest medical bill.
"We got the hospital bills quickly," Jenny says to Josh, who is cradling their newborn baby in his arms. "The bill is about $17,253," she says, much to the new dad's shock.
"What?" he says. "You said that a little fast."
Jenny then replies, repeating the exorbitant amount, before breaking down the costs for their short hospital stay. The hospital room she gave birth in cost over $3,600, despite the couple only staying in the hospital for 24 hours. "The food was $176.70 and the skin-to-skin that you had with Kimmery was $4,000, the skin-to-skin for me was free," Jenny says, and Josh is clearly shocked.
"How is pizza $176? And how can they charge me for laying my own daughter on my own chest?", Josh tells her.
Jenny then concludes the video by telling her husband that they have 30 days to set up a payment plan to begin making payments for the bill.
TikTok users flooded the comments section to express their shock after viewing the video, which has been liked over two million times and been viewed by a whopping 11 million users.
"Is that for real?! They charge for skin to skin?!" one person commented, voicing the opinions of many others.
"Wait a minute, why will they charge him for his skin with his daughter and food? I will buy my food and wait till my hus get home to do skin to skin [sic]," another comment read.
Several users from across the globe even commented on the stark differences between the US healthcare system and their own home country, with one Australian woman writing: "Australia gov pays you to have a baby [...] and zero hospital bill! Skin to skin is free for the dads too [...]."
Another person from Canada chimed in: "Me in Canada having a private room with an epidural and two days in hospital with a total of $0 [...]."
While a British user detailed how different it is to give birth on the UK's National Health Service, adding: "It is cheaper for you to fly to the UK and pay to have your child on the nhs here. You also have a better survival rate!"
One person even stated that the couple might as well have just taken everything they could get their hands on at the hospital, commenting: "And this is why I take EVERYTHING I TOUCH…. Because they charged me anyway and will just throw it away. I know. I work at a hospital."
Well, after all that, I'm sure many viewers will maybe want to think twice about having kids!
