A young couple were left devastated after their special engagement moment was ruined by a woman walking into their space - and then pretty much refusing to leave.
Getting engaged is one of the biggest moments in many couples' lives. It can be a low-key moment or it can be a huge extravaganza, depending on what the couple prefers.
In most cases, there's a certain amount of planning that goes in to making sure that moment is picture-perfect, from choosing a ring to the location to get down on one knee, and even making sure someone is subtly on-hand to capture the magical moment on camera.
While most proposals go without too many hitches, this particular couple found that they ended up with an unwelcome guest ruining the video of the moment they got engaged.
The woman then "tries to look for something to fix" just to eke out her involvement in what was definitely not her moment, and started shuffling some of the decorations in the background around, as the couple's friends behind the camera motioned for her to leave.
Just to add the cherry on the cake, the woman then strides right past the camera as the couple kiss, completely ruining the shot.
While most would be furious at the tactless nature of the woman, thankfully Zenicca managed to see past her ruined engagement video.
She told her followers in the caption: "Please be mindful of other people's once in a lifetime event! You never know you're already ruining it. But I won't have this any other way! I'll redo this all over again."
Her followers took to the comments to share their thoughts, writing: "IT KEPT GETTING WORSE" and "U could excuse the first few seconds w good intentions but the rest I feel like we're just really bad manners and not having any self awareness."
Others added: "Omgggg it felt like she was there forever" and "Aw I could tell she had good intentions but was ignorant in the moment that she was slightly ruining something y'all would cherish forever."
