A dad has been left in a tough position after his toddler found all the Christmas presents that had been sent from Santa.

The wonder of Christmas can sometimes fade as we get older, but for the younger ones, the thought of Santa traveling the globe on Christmas Eve to deliver presents is one that produces magic.

The game for the adults is to see how long they can keep this belief in the magic of Christmas for younger ones as long as possible.

Well, one dad has found himself up against it, as his daughter stumbled across all the presents that Santa had delivered for her, about 26 days before Christmas.

Jason Madden posted the hilarious video on TikTok with the caption: "When Santa didn't do a good job of hiding the presents."

The video - which has 1.1 million views at the time of writing - shows his daughter demanding to play with her new toys, and an argument ensues.

The father said: "No way has my child just found all her presents," as his daughter begins to question whether it was Christmas day.

Jason attempts to defend himself, but his quick-witted daughter knows that she has stumbled upon her new toys. "It’s Christmas day, we need presents," his daughter said. "I saw toys and a Barbie."

The dad was left devastated by the events, posting an image, stating: "Christmas is canceled."

People flocked to the comments to offer the unfortunate father some advice on how to deal with the situation.

One person said: "Tell her it’s for the little girl down the road who has nothing. My mum used to always say this to me and I believed her and never batted an eyelid."

A second added: "Tell her they are for family. The amount of times I've grabbed bargains with the kids there but told them it's for their cousin," and a third said: "That's why you tell them Santa gets you a present but so do parents."

A fourth person also added some advice: "I usually say Santa is coming to pick them up, he ran out of space at the North Pole. Same with toys in the shops."

Let's hope Jason wiggled his way out of this one and kept the Christmas magic alive!
