A father-to-be has taken to social media to share a simple technique that partners of pregnant women can do in order to relieve them of pain.
As many women out there know all too well, the last few months of pregnancy come will seemingly unrelenting aches and pains.
And it is no surprise - when you're carrying the additional weight of another human, you're back is going to be sore.
Thankfully, one TikToker has shared a video showing a very simple technique that partners can to alleviate that constant feeling of heaviness.
Sharing the video under the handle @daddynewb, the dad-to-be captioned the clip: "find a pregnant lady and hold her belly".
Then, speaking to his 38,000+ followers, the TikToker says: "If you wanna do a favor for that pregnant lady, you're going to gently lift her belly up, you’re gonna hold maybe 10-15 pounds," he explains.
"And then when she's ready, you’re gonna gently lower it back down."
As of this writing, the video has received over 3 million likes and 10,000 comments - many of which were from sympathetic TikTok users.
One social media user commented: "Watching her straighten her back... that is the best feeling in the world I can see the relief."

In fact, one doula who uses the social media platform under the handle @theneighborlywombwitch commented that it is actually a really helpful labor technique.
"This is really effective in helping baby engage during labor. Called an abdominal tuck. Do it through ten contractions," she wrote.
Perhaps what is more entertaining is seeing how many people were only just discovering that a pregnant woman's bump could move in such a way:

And then there's Hayley, who may have had the best idea of the 21st century:
A nurse has shared a useful parenting hack to help soothe babies and put them to sleep in mere moments.
According to The Daily Mirror, the special soothing technique was shared on TikTok this week by a nanny and mom-of-three named Danielle Manton-Kelly.
Manton-Kelly had recently met with an osteopath, named Lucy, who had shown her the best and most comfortable way to hold her youngest son William to help him relax.
As you can see in the video above, this method involves Lucy standing with the baby in her arms and gently moving his littles legs around to aid his digestion.
In the video, Lucy stated:
"What you see an awful lot of is people polishing their babies' tummy, but that does absolutely nothing.
"If the tummy doesn't have movement, then the milk gets a chance to sit and move too slowly through there, and then it can ferment and produce wind in their tummy and that then is painful.
"By just lifting up here and doing a figure of eight you're stretching that side and you're stretching that side."
The free advice was clearly greatly appreciated by other TikTok users and has wracked up more than 1.8 million views, 159,000 likes, and a further 1,050 comments as of the time of writing.
A number of other parents have since shared their appreciation for the post.

One person wrote: "Yes spot on!! My boys loved this too and it really does help tremendously. They used to fall asleep like this."

A second wrote: "Am I too old for someone to do this to me? I've not been relaxed in years."

While another added: "Omg I've done this naturally with all of my six I just thought I was being clever multitasking now I know it has benefits too."

Another social media user chimed in, writing: "My niece would not stay quiet unless I held her like this, she absolutely loves it."

Finally, this commenter wrote: "I always carried my daughter like this. She was a long baby and loved it x. [sic]"
A baby expert has provided parents with a helpful hack to relieve constipation in infants by activating their "poop buttons".
Elina Furman, an infant massage instructor, took to TikTok to share her technique with her 257.8K followers.
The mom captioned the video: "This works. Babies, kids, and adults! #babymassage #babypoop #reflexology."
Check out the simple constipation-relieving technique below:
Furman, who is the CEO of Kahlmi, claims that "baby feet correspond to organs" through reflexology, and that there are certain pressure points in their feet that can be activated in order to relieve them of their painful constipation.
Using a doll for demonstrating purposes in the clip, Furman tells her followers: "First with reflexology just rub across the small intestine and the large intestine, then make small circles in the middle of the foot."
According to the TikToker, the rubbing motion "energizes" the small and large intestines. Furman advises parents to rub in a circular motion around the solar plexus in the middle of the child's foot.
A number of the baby guru's followers have since gone on to praise her for sharing the handy tip.
One mom shared: "I did this to my little one because he had been constipated for the past 3 days and it legit worked!!! Thank you."
Another wrote: "This is an update! I tried everything for my son's constipation & nothing would help! We would both cry. This helped him!!!"

A third explained: "As a qualified reflexologist I did this with both my babies!!! Also helps with wind."
A different TikTok user gushed: "Thissss bloooodyyyy worrrkssss !!!!! omgg my baby was constipated for 3 days straight and this worked like magicccccc [sic]."

Furman also made sure to point out that the method works for adults as well as babies. And some grown-ups have since been sharing their experience with activating their "poop button".
One woman shared: "My husband did this to me when I was constipated and I had to tell him to stop cuz I went running. It works [sic]."

Social media users were left stunned after a woman captured the exact moment her baby bump "dropped" during a workout session.
A woman - who goes by the handle @weirdjaime on TikTok - shared an incredible clip of when she was 38 weeks pregnant and was doing her regular routine at the gym.
In the footage, the mother - who has since given birth to an adorable baby boy - was working out at a gym with a kettlebell in her grey t-shirt and black leggings.
However, in the midst of her arm workout, she was startled by a sudden movement in her stomach that caused her to crouch on the floor and cradle her bump.
Watch the moment below:
The TikToker wrote in the caption of her video that she "nearly peed" on herself after the baby sank down in her stomach midway through her set.
As of this writing, the video has garnered a staggering 5.5 million views and 553.4K likes on the social media platform, with many impressed users sharing their reactions.
One person wrote: "That was really cool to see! You normally never catch them dropping lol."
Credit: TikTok
Another user jested: "Baby really said I’m warning you lady if u don’t stop rocking the boat I’m getting out."
Credit: TikTok
A third remarked: "The magic of a female body. Good on you for keeping on with staying healthy, it’ll hopefully make labor easier!"
Credit: TikTok
A fourth commented: "That is amazing!!! I was scared to do any lifting during my pregnancies."

Some pregnant women also shared their hilarious responses, with one penning: "Meanwhile I’m 35 weeks and can barely walk through the grocery store."
Credit: TikTok
And, a second user added: "Um I’m 38 weeks and I successfully put socks on today. Go mama!" to which the TikToker responded: "I paid for all this activity the next day, I was sooooo tired, napped most of the day."

According to Medical News Today, a baby dropping (also called "lightning") is when the infant's head moves lower down into the mother's pelvis. Before dropping, the baby may rotate so that the back of its head is facing down and toward the front of the stomach.
According to the NHS' official website, this is a potential sign that the end of the pregnancy is nearing and the body is preparing for the birth. The site states:
"In the last weeks, some time before birth, the baby's head should move down into your pelvis. When your baby's head moves down like this, it's said to be 'engaged'.
"When this happens, you may notice your bump seems to move down a little. Sometimes the head does not engage until labor starts."
Some medical reports state that this usually happens toward the end of the third trimester of pregnancy but others proclaim that it is difficult to predict.
Nevertheless, the TikToker's camera was set up perfectly to record the phenomenal moment. In her follow-up videos, the mother has shared precious clips with her little one.
And she's not the only mom to capture the incredible moment.
Another woman - who uses the handle @nabby.nabs on TikTok - was recording her bump while at 38 weeks pregnant, when she suddenly noticed it move and drop lower. You can check that video out here.

Pregnancy is a trying time. If you're the one carrying a baby, you have to contend with a lot. From morning sickness to cravings, and that's all while making spacing in your life for a soon-to-be pooping and hungry human, who will put a strain on your resources and time no matter your financial position. That's why it's so important that pregnant people have a good support system around them.
Now, to celebrate this time in all it's hilarious glory, dads have been taking to social media to share their #PregnantWifeProblems. Problems which, as frustrating as they might be, don't have a patch on what their better half is going through, which is why they can never complain. Dems the rules!
[post_page_title]Lending A Helping Hand[/post_page_title]
In the latter stages of pregnancy, a baby bump can make even the simplest of tasks impossible. With such a giant mass in front of you, you can pretty much forget shaving your legs and painting your nails, well, unless you're willing to get a helping hand!
[caption id="attachment_141" align="aligncenter" width="600"]
Credit: Twitter / @__monilloveee[/caption]
Applying nail polish is an art form in and of itself, and while this is a task that even the most well-meaning of husbands might mess up, this guy looks like he's got his painting skills down to a tee. Don't forget to add gloss when you're done!
[post_page_title]Why You Should Always Buy Extra Food[/post_page_title]
Pregnant women aren't described as eating for two for nothing - they literally are. And putting odd cravings for things like pickles and cheeseballs to the side for a moment, they need whatever their tummy demands at any time.
[caption id="attachment_142" align="aligncenter" width="600"]
Credit: Twitter / @GrantVogues[/caption]
This is why, as a partner, if you want to keep your pregnant wife happy, you should always buy two of everything you eat. If she finds out you've eaten something tasty without her, there could, quite literally, be hell to pay.
[post_page_title]The Bigger The Pickle Jar, The Better[/post_page_title]
The world's entire stock of pickles should be reserved for pregnant people. For reasons unknown, they just can't get enough of them, and the bigger, the better in every sense. It doesn't matter whether it's the pickle itself or the jar.
[caption id="attachment_143" align="aligncenter" width="600"]
Credit: Twitter / @Kansazjay[/caption]
If you're the partner of a pregnant person and you're debating whether or not to buy an extra jar of pickles, trust me - do it. If there's a special offer on, buy even more. You can not have too many. The wisest of partners stockpile for the whole nine months.
[post_page_title]Eat A Pregnant Person's Food At Your Peril[/post_page_title]
Another unspoken rule which the partners of pregnant people should never think about doing is eating anything without their pregnant partner's consent. If they've been eying it up and suddenly discover it's gone, there will be hell to pay.
[caption id="attachment_144" align="aligncenter" width="600"]
Credit: Imgur / Diltron[/caption]
The only acceptable explanation in a situation like this is blaming the loss of the food on an animal or a child. Otherwise, there's no telling what the pregnant woman could do. If I was this guy and I'd eaten it, I'd be heading to the store for a replacement ASAP.
[post_page_title]Pregnancy Shopping Lists[/post_page_title]
Pregnancy shopping lists are bizarre and that's putting it mildly. Whether the pregnant person has a craving for an unlimited amount of Jell-O or something more simplistic like cereal, if it's their craving food of choice, they won't be able to get enough of it.
[caption id="attachment_145" align="aligncenter" width="600"]
Credit: Reddit / @gtrpup2[/caption]
This is an interesting series of cravings. Funnily enough, sometimes they can be a reflection of a baby's tastebuds. When my mom was pregnant with me, she couldn't stop eating salad and low and behold, I've been a vegetarian for years.
[post_page_title]Pregnant Women Can Be Cruel[/post_page_title]
In short, if you're living with a pregnant person, you're going to be eating pot luck. Secret stashes are a no go if you value your life, and more often than note, the pregnant person you're living with will taunt you with the remnants of their tasty treats...
[caption id="attachment_146" align="aligncenter" width="600"]
Credit: Imgur[/caption]
You might as well just let them have their fun. They're eating for two, and clearly, the person growing inside of them has an evil sense of humor. Oh well, just be sure to make up for lost time and stuff your face while your partner is in labor.
[post_page_title]The Ice Cream Is Off Limits[/post_page_title]
Women might learn a lot about themselves during pregnancy, but so do men - especially if they're becoming a dad for the first time. Basically, if you don't do it automatically, you're going to learn the hard way why pregnant women and their favorite foods shouldn't be parted...
[caption id="attachment_147" align="aligncenter" width="760"]
Credit: Twitter / @TheLensLife[/caption]
In short, you're living with someone as unpredictable as a toddler, but because it takes two to tango, there's really nothing you can do about it if you're folly gets you hurt. She's the one going through a lot more with a baby in her belly for nine months.
[post_page_title]Husbands Are Basically Servants[/post_page_title]
While partners will eventually learn - even if it's the hard way - that they should never eat a pregnant person's food, there's one thing which they won't be able to get out of, and that's running after them - whether it's preparing their food or just doing more around the house.
[caption id="attachment_148" align="aligncenter" width="600"]
Credit: Imgur / @Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii[/caption]
Yeah, and not only will you have to do these things without complaint, you'll have to do them fast! Pregnant people are notoriously hormonal, especially if they're waiting on something like food, and as you'll already know, hangry pregnant women aren't to be messed with.
[post_page_title]BOOBIES[/post_page_title]
But pregnancy isn't all doom and gloom for partners. A woman's body goes through a lot of changes and some are a lot more appealing than others - like boob explosions! In preparation for breastfeeding, a woman's breasts can grow up to one or two cup sizes.
[caption id="attachment_149" align="aligncenter" width="760"]
Credit: Twitter / @FrothyDad[/caption]
Unfortunately, however, these new larger boobs can't be enjoyed in the way that the breasts of a nonpregnant woman can be enjoyed. Sadly, they're going to be painful. Oh well, at least you can look at them. Right? RIGHT?!
[post_page_title]Pregnancy Really Takes It Out Of Moms[/post_page_title]
Aside from affecting the way a woman's body looks, pregnancy can really take its toll on her energy levels. That's why women are allowed maternity leave towards the latter stages of pregnancy. They're absolutely drained, physically and emotionally.
[caption id="attachment_150" align="aligncenter" width="600"]
Credit: Instagram / @darylamundrud[/caption]
This man captioned the picture: "Someone's enjoying the game today!" Oh well, you might as well enjoy the peace and quiet. You won't have much of it when the baby is born and keeping you both up through the night looking for feeds!
[post_page_title]Pregnancy Is Expensive[/post_page_title]
When a pregnant woman needs to eat, she needs to eat. As a result, pregnancy can be a very expensive time, and that's before you include the cost of buying the essentials like cribs and strollers in preparation for your little bundle of joy's arrival.
[caption id="attachment_151" align="aligncenter" width="760"]
Credit: Twitter / @WillKersey[/caption]
Gas store food is notoriously expensive. Pregnant women must be some of their best customers. Twenty-five bucks probably only covered a tub of ice cream, a small jar of pickles and a big back of chips for this ravenous pregnant lady.
[post_page_title]Always Be Prepared FOr Unexpected Cravings[/post_page_title]
Pregnant women never know when their hunger will strike, which is why it's so important for them to be prepared for every eventuality. This picture was captioned: "This is the result when a pregnant wife wants to go for a walk."
[caption id="attachment_152" align="aligncenter" width="600"]
Credit: Twitter / @theeasternbloc[/caption]
Pickles: check. Cheesy fish: check. Cookies: check. Sandwich: check. Basically, the only thing missing from this pregnancy craving survival pack is ice cream. Maybe if you want to be super prepared, you should buy a mini freezer for your car. Just in case.
[post_page_title]Date Days Become Nap Days[/post_page_title]
Pregnant women might have the best of intentions about spending quality time with their partner before two become three, but thanks to pregnancy, even the best of intentions can result in, well, nothing. But hey! You can make up for it when your kid eventually moves out...
[caption id="attachment_153" align="aligncenter" width="600"]
Credit: Instagram / @drumsnstrums[/caption]
On the plus side, whether you're a guy looking to watch a game in the flesh or at home, you can fart and eat till your wife's content without her knowing if she falls asleep. This picture was captioned: "'Let's watch football and eat nachos together all day!'......not."
[post_page_title]Pregnant Women Will Not Compromise[/post_page_title]
If a pregnant woman wants something, an alternative isn't an option. If you're her partner and go to the store in search of say, a croissant, don't even think about the audacity of returning with a similar alternative like a pain au chocolat.
[caption id="attachment_154" align="aligncenter" width="760"]
Credit: Twitter / @mike_dory[/caption]
Seriously, don't risk it. If a pregnant woman asks you for something, you will have to keep searching until you find exactly what she's looking for. Take shortcuts at your own peril - especially if they concern food.
[post_page_title]If You Really Mess Up, Divorce Will Be Threatened[/post_page_title]
If things go dramatically wrong for a hungry pregnant lady, she could end up taking equally dramatic action like, y'know, asking for a divorce. This screenshot was captioned: "She's threatening me with a divorce over fast food."
[caption id="attachment_155" align="aligncenter" width="600"]
Credit: Instagram / @coreyjinman[/caption]
Pregnant women notice everything. If you go for fast food without them, even if you hide the evidence, their heightened senses will tell them - and if you're lucky, you'll still be married afterward.
[post_page_title]There Is No Such Thing As Too Many Pickles[/post_page_title]
Ah, pregnant women and pickles. They can't get enough of them - in every form. I actually wonder how many a woman eats during pregnancy! The husband who took this picture captioned it: "I don't know if we have enough pickles!"
[caption id="attachment_156" align="aligncenter" width="600"]
Credit: Twitter / @Texans_for_Tide[/caption]
Yeah, it's probably a good idea for this guy to stock up even more. He only appears to have one of each variety and his wife might get a craving for crinkle cut pickles over whole ones. You never know!
[post_page_title]Is It Poop Or The Baby?[/post_page_title]
Cramps are all part of the parcel of pregnancy which means that there can be a lot of false alarms. After all, especially in the latter stages of pregnancy, a baby puts a lot of pressure on a woman's nether regions.
[caption id="attachment_157" align="aligncenter" width="760"]
Credit: Twitter / @phero1190[/caption]
Pregnancy is like pass the parcel. You never know when it's going to happen, but the pregnant person can give you an idea - albeit with a lot of false alarms. Case in point...
[post_page_title]Follow A Pregnant Woman's Instructions To A Tee[/post_page_title]
If a pregnant woman warns you not to do something, under no circumstances must you defy her. Trust me. If you want that snack, go and get it outside - oh, and while you're at it, you should get extra for her. Just in case.
[caption id="attachment_158" align="aligncenter" width="600"]
Credit: Instagram / @raised_901[/caption]
The fact that this has been scratched onto the packaging is ominous enough - never mind what this pregnant woman has written. If you value your life, steer well clear of this food buddy.
[post_page_title]Pregnant Women Can't Wait For Food[/post_page_title]
Pregnant women won't go as far as to rob stores, but as soon as food is in your possession, they will be eating it. Sometimes in the store itself, or, if they're a little more patient like this lady was, in the car.
[caption id="attachment_159" align="aligncenter" width="600"]
Credit: Twitter / @c_owen12[/caption]
This gleeful pregnant woman's husband captioned this picture: "Didn't even get the car started and she's opened the muffins... she started crying when I laughed at her."
[post_page_title]Consider The Cake Gone[/post_page_title]
Pregnant women are like machines when it comes to food (in the highly unlikely event that this wasn't already blatantly obvious from this article). This husband had a little cake, and when he presumably returned for more, this had happened...
[caption id="attachment_160" align="aligncenter" width="600"]
Credit: Twitter / @CoachGallucci[/caption]
It's like a magic trick. I don't even know if buying two cakes would have solved the problem. By the looks of it, his pregnant wife would have polished the other one off too!
[post_page_title]Now That's True Love[/post_page_title]
Prengancy puts relationships to the test in just about every way. Thankfully, stronger bonds are forged as a result. When you see what your partner is willing to do to keep you happy if you're a woman, or, y'know, the pain she goes through to give birth, it can be overwhelming.
[caption id="attachment_161" align="aligncenter" width="600"]
Credit: Instagram / @purplish86[/caption]
This is what true love looks like. Thankfully, this pregnant woman appreciated her husband's sacrifice. She captioned this picture: "My poor husband is freezing so I can be comfortable.
[post_page_title]Pregnant Women Can't Be Ignored[/post_page_title]
Pregnant women can be more anxious than those without little humans growing inside them. That's why it's so important that they are able to contact their partners at all times; otherwise, they could freak out.
[caption id="attachment_163" align="aligncenter" width="600"]
Credit: Reddit / @GiantsRTheBest2[/caption]
This hilarious screenshot was captioned: "What happens when you have a pregnant wife at home, and you leave your phone in your car for an hour."
[post_page_title]Pregnant Women Sometimes Sleep Alone[/post_page_title]
Whether it's because you've snored one time too many, or because your body heat simply sends them over the age, or you've just plain old annoyed them, if you're the husband of a pregnant woman, you could be chucked out your bed.
[caption id="attachment_164" align="aligncenter" width="760"]
Credit: Twitter / @huntington_bt[/caption]
But clearly, this guy managed to get back into the master bed before his wife had given birth. Something tells me that he either got a snoring solution or she forgave him for the misdeed that had him banished in the first place.
[post_page_title]Their Hints Are As Subtle As A Brick[/post_page_title]
Pregnant women sometimes feel bad for asking so much of their partners, which is why they can try to be a little subtler when they want something. Unfortunately, this usually results in them not being subtle at all.
[caption id="attachment_165" align="aligncenter" width="600"]
Credit: Instagram / @kristen.lavalley[/caption]
If this man knows what's good for him and his marriage, he will get that woman her guacamole and egg rolls. No questions asked. It's not just her asking, it's his unborn child too.
[post_page_title]Pregnant Women's Requests Can Be Very Specific[/post_page_title]
Pregnant women sometimes don't know how to articulate exactly what it is that they are craving. But that doesn't stop them from doing their best, then leaving their husbands with the nigh-impossible tasks of finding it.
[caption id="attachment_166" align="aligncenter" width="600"]
Credit: Twitter / @anaquaticgiraff[/caption]
This poor guy tried his best, but he captioned this hilarious exchange with the revelation he "still got the wrong popcorn". Sometimes you really can't win when your partner has a bun in the oven.
[post_page_title]Stock Up On The Good Stuff[/post_page_title]
Everyone knows that in the ice cream department, Ben & Jerry's is the daddy of them all. So if your wife is pregnant, stock up on multiple tubs and flavors - she'll thank you for it when her cravings it.
[caption id="attachment_167" align="aligncenter" width="600"]
Credit: Instagram / @kylefm24[/caption]
Now, that's what I call a tower of deliciousness. The hilarious thing is that if the cravings are strong enough, even three tubs might not last a pregnant lady a day!
[post_page_title]Beward Mooshbrain[/post_page_title]
When people are pregnant, they will usually try to go about their lives in as normal way as possible for as long as possible, which can lead to mishaps. This husband captioned the picture below: "Pregnant wife forgot to put filling in my sandwich due to her mooshbrain."
[caption id="attachment_169" align="aligncenter" width="760"]
Credit: Instagram / @franki743[/caption]
But this isn't a legitimate complaint. At least she made a sandwich! Even the most basic of tasks become complicated when you've got another human growing inside you. This is why pregnant women are cut so much slack by, well, everyone.
[post_page_title]Expeditions Are Sometimes Necessary[/post_page_title]
Come rain, hail or shine, when a pregnant woman has got to eat, she's got to eat. Unfortunately, this means that if she's got a bun in the oven during the colder months, you could find yourself going on a snow expedition for her favorite foods.
[caption id="attachment_170" align="aligncenter" width="600"]
Credit: Twitter / @theonlyripcity[/caption]
For this guy's sake, I really hope that he managed to make it home while the food was still warm. That or there's been no power cut. Pregnant women need their foods of choice and they need it warm - unless, of course, it's the much-coveted ice cream.
[post_page_title]It's Always Time For Pizza[/post_page_title]
When a person is pregnant, pizza is always a good idea. It's full of carbs and is easily customizable, so even if they've got a weird craving, like covering the entire thing in pickles, it is doable. We do, after all, live in the age of dessert pizzas.
[caption id="attachment_171" align="aligncenter" width="760"]
Credit: Twitter / @PaulFrommelt[/caption]
But a more general life tip is that pizza is always a good idea, regardless of whether there is a pregnant person in your life or not. To be honest, I'm at the stage now where I think leftover pizza actually tastes better than the stuff fresh from the delivery guy!
[post_page_title]What All Pregnant Women Want[/post_page_title]
Now that's what I call a content looking pregnant woman. She's got enough cheese balls to make a separate baby bump, a cap to protect her from the sun and a lovely, comfy reclining chair. Bliss.
[caption id="attachment_172" align="aligncenter" width="600"]
Credit: Instagram / @jasonhambone[/caption]
I bet the husband who took this picture is feeling very pleased with himself. To be honest, it looks like he's doing so well that I'm willing to wager that this isn't the first time that his wife has been pregnant.
[post_page_title]Supplies[/post_page_title]
When pregnant women go to the store, there is absolutely no telling what they will come back with. So if you're a family on a budget, you are going to have to plan for multiple unexpected expenses.
[caption id="attachment_173" align="aligncenter" width="600"]
Credit: Reddit / @MacroDacro[/caption]
The husband who took this picture captioned it: "My pregnant wife went to buy some milk and baby formula..." Oh well. At least she got what she went in for and a lot of extras to boot.
[post_page_title]The Leftovers Of A Pregnant Woman[/post_page_title]
Sometimes if you're a very lucky husband with a pregnant wife, you'll be left with some food. Emphasis on the some. Or should I say a little? Actually, scratch that, you'll be left with nothing.
[caption id="attachment_174" align="aligncenter" width="600"]
Credit: Twitter / @altruk[/caption]
I mean, this would be a feast... if your stomach was the size of a mouse's. That or you were willing to wait long enough to grow a whole new avocado from the freaking seed.
[post_page_title]The Optimum Temperature When You've Got A Bun In The Oven[/post_page_title]
Pregnant women, in addition to being incredibly ravenous and emotional, are ridiculously sensitive to temperature. So husbands have to deal with things like this...
[caption id="attachment_175" align="aligncenter" width="600"]
Credit: Instagram / @merrickaiken[/caption]
This very warm looking picture was captioned by this pregnant lady's husband: "Wife needs to keep the house a nice balmy 60 degrees to be able to nap for work..."
[post_page_title]Never Get In The Way[/post_page_title]
Prior to eating, pregnant women can resemble human dinosaurs, mouths wide open and ready for whatever they're craving that day. Usually, something sweet and very, very filling.
[caption id="attachment_176" align="aligncenter" width="600"]
Credit: Twitter / @dawsoncowals[/caption]
Oh, and if that food looks appealing to you, don't even think about asking for a bite. And if you order it for yourself, be prepared for her to ask for your plate too. Dems the rules!
Pregnancy is a trying time. If you're the one carrying a baby, you have to contend with a lot. From morning sickness to cravings, and that's all while making spacing in your life for a soon-to-be pooping and hungry human!
[post_page_title]The Trials And Tribulations Of Pregnancy[/post_page_title]
[[pagebreak]] [post_page_title]Why You Should Always Buy Extra Food[/post_page_title]
Pregnant women aren't described as eating for two for nothing - they literally are. And putting odd cravings for things like pickles and cheeseballs to the side for a moment, they need whatever their tummy demands at any time.

[[pagebreak]] [post_page_title]The Bigger The Pickle Jar, The Better[/post_page_title]
The world's entire stock of pickles should be reserved for pregnant people. For reasons unknown, they just can't get enough of them, and the bigger, the better in every sense. It doesn't matter whether it's the pickle itself or the jar.

[[pagebreak]] [post_page_title]Eat A Pregnant Person's Food At Your Peril[/post_page_title]
Another unspoken rule which the partners of pregnant people should never think about doing is eating anything without their pregnant partner's consent. If they've been eying it up and suddenly discover it's gone, there will be hell to pay.
Pregnancy shopping lists are bizarre and that's putting it mildly. Whether the pregnant person has a craving for an unlimited amount of Jell-O or something more simplistic like cereal, if it's their craving food of choice, they won't be able to get enough of it.

[[pagebreak]] [post_page_title]The Ice Cream Is Off Limits[/post_page_title]
Women might learn a lot about themselves during pregnancy, but so do men - especially if they're becoming a dad for the first time. Basically, if you don't do it automatically, you're going to learn the hard way why pregnant women and their favorite foods shouldn't be parted...

[[pagebreak]] [post_page_title]Husbands Are Basically Servants[/post_page_title]
While partners will eventually learn - even if it's the hard way - that they should never eat a pregnant person's food, there's one thing which they won't be able to get out of, and that's running after them - whether it's preparing their food or just doing more around the house.
But pregnancy isn't all doom and gloom for partners. A woman's body goes through a lot of changes and some are a lot more appealing than others - like boob explosions! In preparation for breastfeeding, a woman's breasts can grow up to one or two cup sizes.

[[pagebreak]] [post_page_title]Pregnancy Really Takes It Out Of Moms[/post_page_title]
Aside from affecting the way a woman's body looks, pregnancy can really take its toll on her energy levels. That's why women are allowed maternity leave towards the latter stages of pregnancy. They're absolutely drained, physically and emotionally.
[[pagebreak]] [post_page_title]Pregnancy Is Expensive[/post_page_title]
When a pregnant woman needs to eat, she needs to eat. As a result, pregnancy can be a very expensive time, and that's before you include the cost of buying the essentials like cribs and strollers in preparation for your little bundle of joy's arrival.

Pregnant women never know when their hunger will strike, which is why it's so important for them to be prepared for every eventuality. This picture was captioned: "This is the result when a pregnant wife wants to go for a walk."
[[pagebreak]] [post_page_title]Date Days Become Nap Days[/post_page_title]
Pregnant women might have the best of intentions about spending quality time with their partner before two become three, but thanks to pregnancy, even the best of intentions can result in, well, nothing. But hey! You can make up for it when your kid eventually moves out...
[[pagebreak]] [post_page_title]Pregnant Women Will Not Compromise[/post_page_title]
If a pregnant woman wants something, an alternative isn't an option. If you're her partner and go to the store in search of say, a croissant, don't even think about the audacity of returning with a similar alternative like a pain au chocolat.

[[pagebreak]] [post_page_title]If You Really Mess Up, Divorce Will Be Threatened[/post_page_title]
If things go dramatically wrong for a hungry pregnant lady, she could end up taking equally dramatic action like, y'know, asking for a divorce. This screenshot was captioned: "She's threatening me with a divorce over fast food."
[[pagebreak]] [post_page_title]There Is No Such Thing As Too Many Pickles[/post_page_title]
Ah, pregnant women and pickles. They can't get enough of them - in every form. I actually wonder how many a woman eats during pregnancy! The husband who took this picture captioned it: "I don't know if we have enough pickles!"
[[pagebreak]] [post_page_title]Is It Poop Or The Baby?[/post_page_title]
Cramps are all part of the parcel of pregnancy which means that there can be a lot of false alarms. After all, especially in the latter stages of pregnancy, a baby puts a lot of pressure on a woman's nether regions.

[[pagebreak]] [post_page_title]Follow A Pregnant Woman's Instructions To A Tee[/post_page_title]
If a pregnant woman warns you not to do something, under no circumstances must you defy her. Trust me. If you want that snack, go and get it outside - oh, and while you're at it, you should get extra for her. Just in case.
[[pagebreak]] [post_page_title]Pregnant Women Can't Wait For Food[/post_page_title]
Pregnant women won't go as far as to rob stores, but as soon as food is in your possession, they will be eating it. Sometimes in the store itself, or, if they're a little more patient like this lady was, in the car. This snap was captioned: "Didn't even get the car started and she's opened the muffins... she started crying when I laughed at her."

[[pagebreak]] [post_page_title]Consider The Cake Gone[/post_page_title]
Pregnant women are like machines when it comes to food (in the highly unlikely event that this wasn't already blatantly obvious from this article). This husband had a little cake, and when he presumably returned for more, this had happened...
Prengancy puts relationships to the test in just about every way. Thankfully, stronger bonds are forged as a result. When you see what your partner is willing to do to keep you happy if you're a woman, or, y'know, the pain she goes through to give birth, it can be overwhelming.
[[pagebreak]] [post_page_title]Pregnant Women Can't Be Ignored[/post_page_title]
Pregnant women can be more anxious than those without little humans growing inside them. That's why it's so important that they are able to contact their partners at all times; otherwise, they could freak out.
[[pagebreak]] [post_page_title]Pregnant Women Sometimes Sleep Alone[/post_page_title]
Whether it's because you've snored one time too many, or because your body heat simply sends them over the age, or you've just plain old annoyed them, if you're the husband of a pregnant woman, you could be chucked out your bed.
[[pagebreak]] [post_page_title]Their Hints Are As Subtle As A Brick[/post_page_title]
Pregnant women sometimes feel bad for asking so much of their partners, which is why they can try to be a little subtler when they want something. Unfortunately, this usually results in them not being subtle at all.
[[pagebreak]] [post_page_title]Pregnant Women's Requests Can Be Very Specific[/post_page_title]
Pregnant women sometimes don't know how to articulate exactly what it is that they are craving. But that doesn't stop them from doing their best, then leaving their husbands with the nigh-impossible tasks of finding it.
[[pagebreak]] [post_page_title]Stock Up On The Good Stuff[/post_page_title]
Everyone knows that in the ice cream department, Ben & Jerry's is the daddy of them all. So if your wife is pregnant, stock up on multiple tubs and flavors - she'll thank you for it when her cravings it.
When people are pregnant, they will usually try to go about their lives in as normal way as possible for as long as possible, which can lead to mishaps. This husband captioned the picture below: "Pregnant wife forgot to put filling in my sandwich due to her mooshbrain."

[[pagebreak]] [post_page_title]Expeditions Are Sometimes Necessary[/post_page_title]
Come rain, hail or shine, when a pregnant woman has got to eat, she's got to eat. Unfortunately, this means that if she's got a bun in the oven during the colder months, you could find yourself going on a snow expedition for her favorite foods.
[[pagebreak]] [post_page_title]It's Always Time For Pizza[/post_page_title]
When a person is pregnant, pizza is always a good idea. It's full of carbs and is easily customizable, so even if they've got a weird craving, like covering the entire thing in pickles, it is doable. We do, after all, live in the age of dessert pizzas.
[[pagebreak]] [post_page_title]What All Pregnant Women Want[/post_page_title]
Now that's what I call a content looking pregnant woman. She's got enough cheese balls to make a separate baby bump, a cap to protect her from the sun and a lovely, comfy reclining chair. Bliss.
When pregnant women go to the store, there is absolutely no telling what they will come back with. So if you're a family on a budget, you are going to have to plan for multiple unexpected expenses.

[[pagebreak]] [post_page_title]The Leftovers Of A Pregnant Woman[/post_page_title]
Sometimes if you're a very lucky husband with a pregnant wife, you'll be left with some food. Emphasis on the some. Or should I say a little? Actually, scratch that, you'll be left with nothing.

[[pagebreak]] [post_page_title]The Optimum Temperature When You've Got A Bun In The Oven[/post_page_title]
Pregnant women, in addition to being incredibly ravenous and emotional, are ridiculously sensitive to temperature. So husbands have to deal with things like this...
[[pagebreak]] [post_page_title]Never Get In The Way[/post_page_title]
Prior to eating, pregnant women can resemble human dinosaurs, mouths wide open and ready for whatever they're craving that day. Usually, something sweet and very, very filling.
When it comes to food, we all have our favorites, and pregnant people are particularly fussy... This Instagram user captioned this hilarious picture: "Lmao! My poor hubby, maybe if they made the vanilla in Neopolitan ice cream taste better I'd eat it."
Pregnancy is an extremely uncomfortable time for women, and sometimes extreme action needs to be taken so that they can properly relax. Case in point... What's going on here? It's a "weekend getaway before baby." Well, you've got enjoy the calm before the storm!
I must admit, I have a sweet tooth, and I'm scared about what might happen to my teeth if I ever become pregnant. This, um, meal was captioned: "What my pregnant wife packs to go shopping." The only silver lining to this sugary cloud is that it's relatively modest in size.
On a first glance, it looks like the person who is holding this donut has just enjoyed their first delicious bite, but oh-no. A pregnant wife got there first... This hilarious picture was captioned: "The donut nibbler strikes again."
[[pagebreak]] [post_page_title]Pregnant Wives Eat Almost Everything. ALMOST Everything.[/post_page_title] Mouse turd or chocolate? I'll let you decide. This exacerbated husband wrote: "Oh com on! #preggowifeproblems - well, at least there's one left!"

[[pagebreak]] [post_page_title]Pregnancy Is A Rollercoaster[/post_page_title]
It's no secret that a woman's hormones are all over the place during pregnancy, and this is a hilarious example. The whole nine months really puts a couple's relationship to the test. Yeah, I don't blame this husband for being frightened. There could be anything in that sandwich.
A lot of pregnancy cravings are generic, but every so often they are hilariously and brilliantly specific. This definitely isn't a meal for everyone. However, this husband seems pretty pleased with his wife's choice.
[[pagebreak]] [post_page_title]This One Isn't Even Human[/post_page_title]
When you're cranky, sometimes you feel like you're not even human. I've had some epic meltdowns on the train just because I had to skip my morning coffee, so I dread to think how pregnancy affects a person. Hiss! IT HISSES!
[[pagebreak]] [post_page_title]This Has Got To Hurt[/post_page_title]
If you reach the stage where you're having a baby with someone, chance are that you're in love, which I feel for this guy. Let's just hope that this pregnant wife makes it up to her husband once she's given birth. That, or he can dress up as whatever it was she was eating for Halloween.
However, as the old saying goes, every cloud has a silver lining, and this is also the case when it comes to pregnant wife problems, so it only seems fitting to end this list on a positive note. Just think of the fun this man and his wife are going to have as soon as they find a babysitter!
