A fitness influencer has taken to social media to reveal just how unrealistic female beauty standards have become.
Morgan Dawson, who has a following of over a million people across her social media channels, recently posted a video about the criticism she has faced for her body shape.
"I'm still getting a lot of comments on people asking me why I ain't got no hips. I don't know, this is how I was born," she said.
Watch Morgan's amusing video below:"Hips are bone, you can't grow bone. If you can show me how to grow bone, and I'll do it."
Morgan's video went down a storm on social media, with TikTok users taking to the comments section to remark on just how ridiculous female beauty standards have become.
One wrote: "Proof that you could be perfect and someone will still find something to hate on."

A second added: "I swear people [have] become so desensitized and don't know what real [bodies] look like anymore. Bbl makes them thinks that's normal.. sad [sic]."

A third wrote: "They're called 'hip dips' and it's 100% natural and just how some peoples [sic] bodies distribute their fat and muscle."

Meanwhile, a fourth revealed: "I have the same issue. My husband used to say 'can't you make this bigger' ... he is now my ex husband [sic]."

The conversation about women being misinformed that they can somehow grow hips went further than Dawson's page, however, and it has also come up on Twitter too.
One Twitter user wrote: "stop telling women they can grow hips at the gym pls [sic]."
A second added: "Okay, but their hips don't grow. You can certainly add mass to your body but your frame will not change. You will not miraculously be an hourglass, if you've been inverted triangle your whole life. Some of these fitness models have gotten surgery, or already had that foundation."
Dawson concluded by saying that she loves her body just as it is, and "wouldn’t look any better if I had more hips".
She added: "Ladies don't let the internet bully you into self-hate, because it will really try you."
