A bodybuilder has perfectly shut down a woman who said that girls would have found him more attractive before he got ripped.

TikTok user @ironsanctuary - aka Kevin Clevenger - took to the app to respond to some unsolicited advice that he received after showing off his body transformation.

The clap-back did not go unnoticed on the social media platform, and at the time of writing, it has been liked 1.1 million times and has received thousands of comments.

Watch the viral TikTok below:

In the original video, Clevenger can be seen showing off his previous physique, before revealing his current form after significant bodybuilding work.

The video then cuts to TikToker (@healthyalternativemom), who says: "This is a perfect example to me of female gaze versus male gaze. Technically, what the female finds attractive is in the first picture."

However, the bodybuilder was not willing to stand for this unsolicited assessment of his appearance and quickly shut down his critic.

He responded: "This is a perfect example of 'how about we keep our thoughts to ourselves'."

"What if, maybe, I did that not because I wanted you or anyone else to find me more attractive?" he continues.

Clevenger adds: "What if I did that because 1) I personally did not like the way I looked and 2) I was training for a bodybuilding competition in which I was judged on my physique?"

He then mimics the woman's voice, saying: "'Oh women don't find that attractive,'" before fuming: "You think I f***ing care what other women think about my body?"

He then refers to how many people subscribe to his "spicy page" implying that many do find his build attractive, but that it ultimately doesn't matter what other women think as he's married.

The video was subsequently shared on Reddit, where Clevenger was praised for his response to the woman.

One Reddit user wrote: "That dude said nothing but facts. Major respect for him. Also his body looks great."

A second added: "'Technically, shut the f**k up.' I'm stealing that. Thanks guy with a nice voice and beard."

A third wrote: "God this is just my least favorite trend. People jumping in to add their commentary on whatever the f**k, I just find it so annoying for some reason."

So, if you ever feel like giving a stranger unsolicited advice about their appearance on the internet, it's probably a good idea to... not.
