Even if you don't follow a lot of travel bloggers or models on Instagram, it's hard not to feel a little jealous sometimes. Seeing people leading seemingly perfect lives can make you compare it to your own life, and it never matches up. However, what we see isn't always that close to reality, as this fitness model has gone to show.

Fitness model Anna Victoria pulled back the curtain on the tricks used by Instagram models to make them look 'perfect' to their audience in her latest photos.

Victoria has always been insecure about her "small" butt, and took to fitness to help tone her body. She explained in the caption to one her Instagram posts that there is only so much you can do to build up that area, so unless you're going to have the perfect genetics or have surgery, a little trickery will help you out.

She posted a photo of her "Instagram Booty" alongside her "Real Life Booty", showing how a different angle can make a huge difference.

She wrote:

"A lot of the booty pics you see on Instagram are flexed, pushed out, back arched so much it actually hurts...plus high waisted pants that accentuate a small waist and lift the booty too...there are so many ways to make it look 10x bigger on insta than in real life, and I do it too!!

"I love posing and admiring the "Instagram booty" but that’s not my real booty. And I’m okay with that."

As you can see in the photo below, a lot can change with just a slight change in angle:

In the post, Victoria went into how after being posting on Instagram for a while, she started to notice comments about her rear end, even after she had spent a long time transforming herself. But now she has realized that while she doesn't have "an ideal booty" she loves it "no matter the shape or size".

"A wise woman once said, “You could be the ripest, juiciest peach in the world and there will still be someone who hates peaches”. And in this case, I LITERALLY mean peaches," she concluded.

This isn't the first time she has pointed out these imperfections, either. In January 2017 she posted a side-by-side of her with taut abs and her stomach sucked in, and one of her sat down relaxed, noting that the latter was her "99% of the time".

"As I'm getting older, I have cellulite and stretch marks that aren't going away, and I welcome them. They represent a life fully lived (for 28 years so far :)) and a healthy life and body at that. How can I be mad at my body for perfectly normal "flaws"?"

It's clear that while she isn't always confident that she has the ideal body, Victoria is going strong based on her own self-love, which is more important than reaching any societal idea of perfection.
