There are plenty of people out there who simply love Jell-O. But the problem is that it's one of those desserts that you kinda have to eat on its own. If you've got a sweet tooth then you might be wishing that it could be combined with something else to make an extra-scrumptious treat. Well, wish no more! There's a new candy on the way from a pretty major brand, and it's all kinds of exciting.

Check out this hilarious video of a sweet-toothed presenter eating cotton candy in three seconds:

According to the Instagram accounts of a number of people who had the honour of attending the Sweets & Snacks Expo in Chicago this week, where major candy companies present their latest creations, something awesome is on the way. Namely: Starburst gelatin -  taking your favourite fruit-flavoured candy and enhancing it to the max.

The delicious gelatin is meant to appear in four different flavours: lemon, strawberry, cherry, and blue raspberry. Sadly, there's no sign yet of an orange or lime flavour - so bad new for people who like those colours best.  It's still unknown exactly when the Starburst gelatin will be hitting stores, but they're expected to arrive sometime later this year.

Starbursts were first invented by Mars Inc in 1960 in the United Kingdom, where they were originally named 'Opal Fruits.' The name was controversially changed in 1998, with many nostalgic Britts complaining. However, the brand continues to sell well, especially since Starbursts are a vegan treat.
