Wellness guru shares method of getting high in less than 30 seconds without using drugs

A wellness expert has unveiled a technique that allows individuals to experience a "high" in under 30 seconds - all without the use of drugs.

The revelation was shared by a TikTok user, known by the handle @RetrainwithTremain, who posted a video demonstrating how to achieve this sensation through a unique breathing exercise.

At the beginning of the clip, the wellness coach shared a disclaimer, setting safety guidelines, which read: "Do not perform this breathwork while driving, in water, or operating heavy machinery."

"Avoid if pregnant, have heart conditions, high or low blood pressure, respiratory issues, seizures, or other medical concerns. Always practice in a safe, seated, or lying position in a calm environment."

"This content is for educational purposes only and not a substitute for medical advice. Proceed at your own risk," he concluded.

Once the disclaimer was out of the way, Tremain demonstrated the breathwork that promises a natural "high".

The technique involves the following steps:

  1. Place your hands on your shoulders.
  2. Twist your body to the left and right while inhaling deeply.
  3. Exhale, then inhale again while keeping your shoulders elevated.

Tremain instructs viewers to hold this position for as long as they can to feel the euphoric effects.

While it may seem simple, the breathing exercise is said to trigger a deep shift in the body’s energy.

Feedback from Followers

Tremain’s breathwork technique sparked a variety of responses in the comment section.

While a few were fascinated by the move, others were less convinced.

"Huh," one person wrote, and claimed that the move is "dangerous" because "it just reduces the oxygen going to your brain due the consumption of our muscles".

In response, Tremain reassured his audience, explaining that the technique is safe when performed correctly.

"Ancient yogis have practiced bandhas and kumbhaka (breath retentions) for thousands of years! Both with oxygen and without," he continued.

"These methods train the nervous system to stay calm under pressure, balance oxygen and CO₂, and direct energy throughout the body."

"Modern science now confirms what yogis always knew control of the breath builds focus, calms the mind and body, and reconnects us to higher levels of consciousness, allowing for deep inner peace."

He added that "it's not about deprivation… it’s about learning to control the life force energy within".

The Science Behind a "Natural High"

While the wellness guru's technique may sound unconventional, it aligns with scientific findings that suggest there are several ways to experience a "natural high" without the need for substances.

These highs are often a result of movements that stimulate the release of the body’s natural "feel-good" chemicals, such as endorphins, dopamine, and serotonin.

Unlike the temporary and often harmful highs associated with drug use, these natural methods offer a sustainable source of joy and well-being.

They can have a positive impact on mental health by improving your mood and emotional balance.

Several other activities can trigger similar biochemical reactions in the body, such as physical activity, listening to music, connecting with nature, and engaging in creative activities such as painting, writing, or cooking.
