However, it appears that one mother situated in Novia Scotia doesn't have to deal with the natural stages of ageing. Kienya Booker, 40, has gone viral thanks to now-and-then photos of her and her daughters were shared online. The mom-of-three shared the images with her 80,000 followers on Instagram and it would be easy to believe that she was just one of the sisters, rather than their mother. Kienya mainly uses her Instagram to showcase her natural hair tutorials and the girls make regular appearances on the account, sometimes posing as models for a variety of their mother's looks. Speaking to Yahoo Lifestyle about the attention, Kienya explained that the photos were meant as just meant as a regular #ThrowbackThursday post. Keen to show that the original image wasn't a fluke, the mom has shared multiple photos of her and her girls together. A Melbourne grandmother has taken Instagram by storm after her 20=year-old daughter shared a picture of the two of them together wearing similar swimsuits and flaunting their toned bodies.

When Sharon Orval's daughter posted the bikini snap on Instagram, she had no idea people would be so enamored by her youthful looks that they would actually confuse her for her daughter's sister.

Daughter Hannah - a lifestyle influencer with more than 227,000 followers on the social media platform - captioned the mother-daughter pic: "yeah this is my mum".

Now, the popular post has since received more than 28,000 likes and 120 comments - with many Instagram users in disbelief at Sharon's real age.

Many of the comments were incredibly complimentary of Sharon's youthful looks, but some of Hannah's followers were convinced the duo were actually sisters.

Another Instagram user with the handle danaschwass commented: "Sucks when your mums hotter than you hey", and a seemingly jealous whatsmineisyours_hire commented: "The genes in your family".

Speaking about the adoration, Sharon - who is actually 55 years old, if you can believe it - modestly told news.com.au: "I just think people are just kind […] clearly I don’t look like her sister but it’s nice of them to say something nice."

Sharon previously worked as a personal trainer before her online popularity skyrocketed. Now, she provides people with 'Shazzas Tips' through her social media accounts so they can hopefully look as good as her when they reach 55.

"I just sort of accidentally fell into giving people tips and then people would ask for more," she said.

"Before I knew it I was pretty much giving away the free tips which I had learned over the years that helped me and helped the other people that I was training as well."

And despite being retired, Sharon's passion for health and fitness is still going strong, hitting the gym five to six days a week (putting me to SHAME). She says:

"I go in there, I do as much as I can, I keep it moving. I try and get my cardio out of it as well. I like to train hard for at least an hour, and I like to train with weights, that’s something I’ve found that I enjoy."

Last week, 50-year-old singer and actress Jennifer Lopez took to Instagram to share a steamy bikini selfie with her 114 million Instagram followers, and revealed that she is "relaxed and recharged" following her energetic Super Bowl Halftime Show performance.

However, in doing so, the mom also inspired moms around the world to share their own swimsuit selfies, in a movement that's been labeled the '#JLoChallenge'.

But these moms are not flaunting how toned and tight their bodies are; instead, they are embracing their different shapes and sizes as mothers, and encouraging others to champion their own personal fitness journeys.

The "JLoChallenge" was created by mother Maria Kang, who is also the founder of the parenting fitness community No Excuses Mom. Kang recently shared a mirror selfie to her own Instagram account, mimicking J-Lo by wearing her own white two-piece. The photo was accompanied with a caption that had an important message for all parents:

"Thank you @jlo for inspiring this spontaneous pic in a white bikini this morning. Not a celebrity. Not getting millions to look great in a movie (hello, Hustlers! or dating a hot athlete (although my hubby is kinda cute!) BUT, it doesn't matter... Own your story. Create your own accountability. Don't make excuses for your inaction."
