Jolly Rancher launches an all-new peach flavor pack for summer

Summer is now well and truly upon us.

Replete with its long, warm nights and sun-filled days, summer is a time to enjoy the great outdoors (at a safe social distance, obviously), have a cookout or two, indulge in your favorite food and drinks, and generally attempt to unwind from the stresses and strains of modern life.

For many, the flavor of summer comes in the form of some fruit or another. Whether an actual fruit salad of mangoes, strawberries and pineapple, or fruity cocktails and desserts, the summer is a time to keep refreshed and cool.

As such, many companies have been jockeying for position in the crowded summer refreshment market, and now Jolly Rancher has entered the fray, after announcing a new peach-flavor pack. The new pack arrives just in time to help keep you refreshed with fruity deliciousness this summer.

As Delish reports, a peach flavor Jolly Rancher has actually featured before - in its Bold Fruit Smoothie variety pack - though it seems as though they might have been discontinued.

Now, not only can you enjoy the delicious peach flavor once more, but you can indulge in an entire pack of them! For sharing, naturally.

The peach flavor had proved so popular previously that there was even a Change.org petition to bring the flavor back.

"This is the problem - I just dug through an entire bag of Jolly Ranchers, and all I found was this:  Cherry, Watermelon, Green Apple, Grape, and Blue Raspberry. Blue Raspberry?  Is that even a real thing?  Question - WHERE is the PEACH?" reads a portion of the highly persuasive petition.

Although it's reported that the new Jolly Rancher Peach flavor packs have only been spotted at Dollar General thus far, it's not clear if they're an exclusive offering.
