An interaction between a political activist and a college student is going viral after his perfect response to the question: "Should there be tampons in the men's restroom?"

Kaitlin Bennet, a right-wing YouTuber and commentator, posted a 20-minute video of her going around a University of Kentucky campus asking students whether trans men belong in women's restrooms and vice versa.

Some people on social media felt the questions Kaitlin was asking were transphobic in nature.

It soon becomes clear that Kaitlin's style involves persistently re-wording the same question over and over in order to get the answer she wants.

But one particular student has been praised for his response to her questions, which revolved around trans people and whether their genitalia corresponds with the gender they identify with.

The student consistently maintains that he doesn't care whether men who have periods or women who have penises use the toilet corresponding with their gender - which the conservative YouTuber cannot seem to wrap her head around.

Kaitlin begins: "What do you think about putting urinals in women's restrooms for women who have penises and they just want to stand and pee?"

The student responds: "I think people are just making too big a f**king deal about it. I don't really care."

Kaitlin then says: "What about tampons and pads in the men's restroom for men who have periods?"

Student: "If you're really getting that worked up about it, why does it matter? I don't care. It's just sitting there - I'm not going to take it."

Kaitlin, seemingly in disbelief at her liberal counterpart's views, asks: "So, we should provide men with tampons?"

Student: "If a dude wants a tampon for some reason, he can have a tampon. That's not my business."

Kaitlin: "What would he use it for?"

Student: "I don't know that's his problem."

Kaitlin then proceeds to ask again, "What would he use a pad for?" To which the student again responds: "His problem".

In a last-ditch attempt to get the answer she wants, Kaitlin asks, "Do you think they should seek medical advice if they're having bleeding?"

To which the student responds: "I mean, if they want to, I don't really care. Why should I care?"

He then tells the persistent content creator: "I care about people's personal rights. They can do whatever they want. It's not my business."

Later in the video, Kaitlin asks another man about what he thinks about urinals in women's public restrooms, to which he responds: "I don't care" - forcing her to cut the questioning.

Well said!
