Man finds dog at side of road with heartbreaking note attached to collar
A man was left in tears after discovering an abandoned dog at the side of a road, with a heartbreaking note attached to her collar.
Taking to Facebook, Lionel Vytialingam recalled how he was off to a grocery store when he saw the stray pooch running "aimlessly" in the middle of a big road in Ipoh, Malaysia.

Concerned for the dog's welfare, Vytialingam got into his car, and followed the pup before stopping by the roadside to help her. "Thank goodness she chose to walk towards me, away from the middle of the road," he wrote.
He then recalls how she had a "soggy note folded up and tied around her neck."
Vytialingam added: "I tried not to move at all to maybe gain her trust. She stood away for bout 10 mins watching my every pulse it seemed, before she finally approached me from the back, sniffed, then walked round to face me. I asked her if I could look at her note.
"By this time she had formed the most intense, most pleading eye contact with me from under her matted fringe. I unhooked the note, opened it up and read it right there crouched by the roadside. There was hope I thought, there'd be some owner's contact or address, I thought."

However, the upsetting note did not reveal any contact details.
Instead it read: "Woof! Hi! My name is Siggy and I'm the most loving and attentive doggy you'll ever see. My master is very sorry he had to leave me here with you, but he just can't look after me anymore.
"I am very sorry about that as I'm sure he is too. Please take me into your home. Please let me be part of your family. Please love me. I am a goldendoodle, I am five years old this year and I have not been neutered. I am very nice, I haven't bitten anyone, ever!"

"I am a good guard dog who will sit in front of your door all day, and bark at anyone who comes to your gate. Until you tell me to stop. Or if I know the person very well. I can do some tricks too! "I hope you'll accept me. With love and some woof, Siggy."
Vytialingam explains how he broke down in tears after reading the upsetting note and decided to take Siggy home with him.
Per the Mirror, his dog Sammo didn't get on with Siggy, but fortunately, Vytialingam's brother is able to take care of her.
