Pancake day is here, guys! And as if we weren't already excited enough, McDonald's UK has announced that it will be selling pancakes all day today to celebrate Shrove Tuesday - putting a smile on the faces of countless Brits up and down the country.
Last year, UK McDonald's breakfast hours were extended from 10:30 am until 11:00 am, and for Shrove Tuesday, the mouthwatering pancakes - which come with that scrumptiously sweet syrup - will be available all day.
So there's absolutely no need to worry if your own pancakes turn out to be a total flop - you can simply head to your local McDonald's and they will sort you out!
But if you are looking to make your own pancakes from scratch, you might want to check out this recipe for Baileys-S'mores pancakes, courtesy of Twisted:The fast-food giant is doing UK customers a massive solid on Pancake Day by serving the tasty treats at their restaurants - well past breakfast.
This means that if you were planning to have lunch or dinner at McDonald's tomorrow, you will actually be able to order pancakes with your burgers and fries. Sounds heavenly, right?
Or perhaps these gorgeous red velvet pancakes are more to your taste. Check out Twisted's recipe here:And it gets even better because ordering the treats to your home will be cheaper this Pancake Day. Indeed, UberEats has teamed up with McDonald's and is offering free delivery on orders over £5, with the code PANCAKESALLDAY. So you can also chow down in the comfort of your own home.
The pancakes will also be available to buy via the My McDonald's App, the chain has confirmed. Plus they have an RRP of £2.49, but note that prices do vary slightly across the country.
