Well, that's that.
2019 is over, and here we are in 2020. Feels... pretty much exactly the same, doesn't it?
It's certainly fair to say that 2019 was a turbulent year; in Britain, a seemingly never ending public debate on Brexit dominated nearly every aspect of life, while in the United States of America, Donald Trump finally overstepped a line far enough that impeachment proceedings were brought against him.
Prince Harry chokes up as he remembers Meghan's pregnancy:The Toronto Raptors were NBA champions, while the absolute juggernaut that is the New England Patriots secured yet another Superbowl.
But that was then, and this is now. It's officially a new year; a fresh start during which we'll all fall into the trap of buying improbably expensive gym memberships before visiting said gym literally three times before trying to cancel it.
If you're not quite ready to move from 2019 just yet, though, then I have a treat for you, because Meghan Markle and Prince Harry recently posted a highlight reel of their year, and it features an adorable new picture of baby Archie in his father's arms.
Meghan Markle accidentally calls Prince Harry by adorable nickname in public:The couple wrote;
"Looking back at 2019...
“Wishing you all a very Happy New Year and thanking you for your continued support! We’ve loved meeting so many of you from around the world and can’t wait to meet many more of you next year. We hope 2020 brings each of you health and continued happiness.”
You can see the photo of Archie in the video below:
Before Christmas, a representative for the couple confirmed that they would be celebrating the festive season in Canada;
"As has been reported, Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are spending private time in Canada. The decision to base themselves in Canada reflects the importance of this Commonwealth country to them both. Whilst this emails confirms the country they are taking their family time in, for security reasons we will not be releasing any further details and request that their privacy is respected,"
Happy New Year to Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, baby Archie and all of you!
