Photographer Peter Zelewski has spent years working with identical twins, exploring their bond and what makes them different. Using only natural light for his street portraits, he captured identical twins of different ages and backgrounds in London, where the photographer has lived since the 80's.

Zelewski deliberately dressed the subjects of his work the same and in similar poses, as he explained with the example of two brothers Duke and Joe.

"Although they are identical twins they couldn’t be more different, both in their physical appearance and personalities," Zelewski said. "By stripping down the background and photographing the boys in plain t-shirts, I was able to let their different personalities shine through."

Check out some of his work below:

1. Joe & Duke 2. Reggie & Mickie

3. Delilah & Tullulah

4. Tomo & Lorenzo

5. Devontay & Dijon

6. Cristian & George

7. Ronja And Vår

8. Aveah & Anaiah

9. Chloe & Leah

10. Hermon & Heroda

11. Polly & Sophie

12. Sharmena & Ridhwana

13. Irene & Sharon

14. Clinton & Lee

15. Chè & Leonie

It is remarkable that even with those that are physically identical, and dressed the exact same way, their individual personalities shine through in their expressions and the way they hold themselves. You can see the bond that these siblings shared in this story, in which identical twins who were separated at birth found each other after 33 years apart.
