Reality TV favorite Vicky Pattison has horrified fans after showing a bizarre interaction with her dog that many are branding “disgusting.”
The former Geordie Shore star shared a joint Instagram post on August 22 with pet food brand Butternut Box to promote its new YouTube series Walkies. While the campaign itself seemed harmless, the footage quickly went viral for all the wrong reasons.
In the video, Pattison appeared alongside her dogs, Max and Milo, and a woman named Aisha.
But jaws dropped when one of her dogs began licking inside Pattison’s mouth—and instead of pulling away, she opened her mouth wider to let the dog continue.
“It makes them happy”
The shocking moment didn’t end there. After Aisha jokingly called Pattison “gammy” for allowing it, Pattison doubled down, saying: "I'm so sorry. Like, you know, it makes them happy," before leaning in again for another lick.
Social media exploded with disgust, with users flooding her Instagram comments to voice their outrage.
One fan wrote: “Omg Vicki no!!! I loved my dog more than life itself, I wouldn't mind her liking my nose/face or hands etc. I'd also kiss her above her nose & her head, but there's no way I would ever let her kiss me by licking my lips & definitely not by licking inside my mouth.”
Another added: “I love my dogs more than anything but after seeing them licking their bits I couldn't.”
A third comment read: “This is so disgusting. Then you kiss your partner and kids after that, spreading bacteria.”
One follower warned: “I think u r great and love your stories but for god sake why would u do this, dogs carry so many parasites from eating all sorts while out on walks let alone licking their own backsides, just wrong.”
And another kept it simple: “That is actually so disgusting and unhygienic. It's so wrong on so many levels.”
Even Her Husband Weighed In
Adding to the moment, Pattison’s husband Ercan Ramdan jumped into the comment section with his own playful jab: "The dogs get better kisses than me."
While Pattison insisted she does it because “it makes them happy,” her followers made it clear they weren’t impressed. For many, the act crossed a line between showing love for pets and taking things way too far.
