In May 2018, Cara Delevingne and Ashley Benson were spotted leaving a Lauryn Hill concert together at the Apollo Theatre in New York.
It was the start of a beautiful, but intensely private, relationship that, still to this day, has not been officially confirmed.
Fans of the pair have been forced to rely on paparazzi snaps and blurry selfies to learn anything about the romance. However, that all changed this week when an adorable photo was uploaded to social media showing the two women indulging in some PDA.
Fashion stylist, Jamie Mizrahi, shared an image of the couple snuggling on Instagram yesterday, captioning the sweet moment: "post show cuddle puddle".
The snap was taken after Cara walked in the final Karl Lagerfeld show, a Chanel catwalk event that celebrated the late fashion designer's last collection after his death in mid-February.
The show was likely to be an emotional event for the supermodel, given the fact that she was extremely close with the 85-year-old. After his passing, she uploaded a heartfelt Instagram post that spoke of her "dear friend" who "believed in me when so many others didn’t including myself".
"Outside of fashion, he was one of the most interesting and caring men I have ever met," she wrote. "I am so lucky and grateful to have had him in my life, worked with him and been able to spend time with him.... Although now, I wish it had been more. His legacy will live on forever. I miss you more than I could ever try and describe. I wish I had been able to tell you how much you meant to me. I love you @karllagerfeld all I can say is thank for the bottom of my heart."
The 26-year-old model's relationship with Pretty Little Liars star Ashley has been much scrutinised in the press. However, the pair have expressed their hope to stay private. In an interview with People Now, Ashley implied that we shouldn’t expect them to be walking a red carpet anytime soon.
"I think it’s the best way in any relationship. I’ve always been very private about them, and I think it’s just better," she said. "I mean it’s hard, I don’t know, you kind of can’t get away from that if you’re in the public eye. I just kinda try to keep myself as private as possible."
She added: "That’s one good thing about living in New York — I can live kind of a normal lifestyle... in L.A., the paparazzi are really bad, but here I can kind of just walk anywhere and not be bothered."
However, while the two stars remain tight-lipped about their romance, a source has claimed that Ashley's "first" same-sex relationship it feels "easy" for her.
"Ashley and Cara are dating. This is the first girl she’s ever dated," a source allegedly told Us Weekly back in October. "This relationship with Cara is the first time she’s been in a healthy relationship and she feels as if it’s really easy with her."
