A 73-year-old woman who spent 40 years celibate before becoming an escort has given a brutal response to people who question her relationships with men in their 20s.
Caroline Vee opened up about her dramatic change in lifestyle while appearing on the Tea At Four podcast with Virgin Island star Marianne Banda.
Having been a devout Christian for much of her life, Caroline says everything changed when she experienced a "sexual awakening" at the age of 57.
She was asked whether becoming an escort had changed her outlook, and admitted it had completely transformed the way she viewed sex, dating, and relationships.
"Oh gosh, yes. But as I started to meet guys, I realized that you can have fun with guys of any age."
However, she knows that some people find her relationships with younger men difficult to understand, adding: "Some are taboo, you know, like some things I’ve done it’s like, ‘How dare you s*** a 20-year-old?’"
Caroline, though, doesn't appear particularly concerned by the criticism, quipping: "Why not?"
Caroline went on to explain that entering the escort industry has given her a newfound sense of confidence.
"I feel so confident in myself now."
She continued: "I can get my sexy outfit on, stand in front of the mirror while I’m preparing for my client and think, ‘Yeah girl, you’ve got this. Sexy BBW (big beautiful woman) granny and everybody wants you. Bring it on.’"
Caroline also said her experiences with younger clients have challenged some of the assumptions she once had about men.
She claims some of her younger clients can be particularly affectionate and enjoy developing a deeper connection with her.
Asked what has surprised her most about the men she has met, Caroline said: "I still tend to think that men just have one thing on their mind and that’s all they want.
"But to then meet guys that actually are not that blinkered and narrow-minded and they can actually control what’s in their pants and it is a really lovely thing to discover."
Caroline has previously explained that she never particularly enjoyed sex when she was younger.
After losing her virginity at 16, she ultimately went on to spend approximately four decades without sex – but insists she didn't feel as though she was missing out.
"To be honest, I was never frustrated or anything that I couldn’t. I wasn’t being tortured or anything, or restricted.
"It's like, if you’ve never done something, or if you didn’t enjoy it, you’re not going to miss it."
That changed when Caroline reached 57 and joined a dating website.
She began receiving interest from men, including some as young as 18, and says the experience sparked her "sexual awakening".
Caroline subsequently left her church, began dating, and started visiting swingers clubs before becoming an escort in 2017.
Caroline has also opened up about the types of fantasies clients approach her about, revealing that many are connected to her age.
After years working as an escort, she says very little surprises her anymore.
"You get to the point when you've done more or less what I’ve done, that you're not shocked anymore with what they come up with."
She explained that clients will often message her before revealing a particular fantasy.
"Because when they message you, they sort of say, ‘can I ask you something, I’ve had this fantasy?’ And you wait and you think, ‘I wonder what this one’s gonna be?’"
But Caroline says the requests are often far less shocking than people might expect.
"And usually, it's quite normal. They just want me to be their granny, you know, or their aunty or whatever.
"And I go, ‘Yeah that’s no problem at all.’"
Having spent most of her adult life celibate, Caroline's journey has taken her down a path she could hardly have predicted – and she appears more than comfortable with the choices she's opted for.
