As a man who is two weeks away from my wedding, I find myself spending a lot of my free time thinking about what makes and breaks a relationship. And, although it sounds cliché, the only way a relationship can survive is through sacrifice.

And no, I'm not talking about sacrificing a goat as you say your nuptials, I'm talking about small, personal sacrifices you have to make in day-to-day life. For example, I hate mushrooms, but my fiancée loves mushrooms, which is why I let her throw a few in the carbonara (don't @ me).

However, one doting husband's actions on a flight have ignited a fierce debate online about how much sacrifice is TOO much sacrifice, after he spent six hours standing in the aisle so his wife could lay down on his seat and sleep.

You can often find some questionable things on a flight. Such as this passenger who controlled his entertainment system with his FEET:

Captioning a photo of the couple, "This guy stood up the whole 6 hours so his wife could sleep. Now THAT is love", Twitter user Courtney Lee Johnson shared the image to the social media site, seemingly as a way of showing that true love is indeed alive and kicking.

However, while there were indeed those who agreed that the husband's actions were an act of a devoted and loving, there were also many people who felt like the wife was taking advantage and that the balance had well and truly shifted.

(Just throwing my two cents in, I personally am annoyed she went barefoot on a plane - I just do not agree with those shenanigans.)

As of this writing, the OG tweet has been retweeted over 3,200 times and liked more than 15,300 times, and the debate is still raging on.

If you think it's just fellow passengers you need to be wary of, think again. This is the moment an airport security guard handed a passenger a note saying "You Ugly":

Although the truth behind the story has yet to be corroborated, there's no doubt this is the most fierce debate on true love since Rose refused to share that GIANT door with Jack...
