A model who went viral after calling for planes to have bigger seats has left social media users stunned after sharing pictures of her extreme transformation.

Gracie Bon is a Panamanian model and content creator who has 7.6 million followers on Instagram.

She first gained notoriety online after opening up about the struggles she faces on planes as her curvaceous figure is too big for the small seats.

In the video that divided her followers, the 27-year-old could be seen standing on a travelator as she headed to her boarding gate, before showing herself squeezing into the wide seat and using a seatbelt extender to strap herself in.

In the clip, Gracie wrote that "airplanes should have bigger seats," adding: "So today I had a flight and even if I was flying in first class I couldn't fit on the airplane seat.

"So this is a petition for all the airlines so big girls like me fly," she said. "It's not my fault to have an a** this big. Please just make them bigger!"

Not everyone was sympathetic to her plight as they took to the comment section to slam her complaint. "'Big girls like me' ?? Girl you made yourself like that," one person accused.

"You’re supposed to pay for two seats if you can’t fit in one.. just like anyone else who doesn’t fit.." another commented, while one more added: "What do u mean it's not your fault? You literally paid to do this to yourself."

While the social media sensation has not confirmed whether she had enhancement surgeries, she did share staggering before and after pics of her body transformation.

The first picture was from the age of 21 and the second was from the age of 25.

Translated from Spanish to English, the content creator penned in the caption: “It all started with loving my 300-pound body. And even so, many tell me: 'But if you had loved it, you would have stayed like this and not changed.'

“The truth is that I loved it so much that I wanted to take care of it and I decided to save myself, I did not settle for being 21 years old, complaining about it," she continued. “My knee pain, I was also not satisfied with not being able to breathe well when I walked. I wanted more. And wanting more is OK, what is best for you and what makes you happy will always be OK. Because in the end, the only thing that matters is you.

“Note: Being skinny does not make you healthy; not even being fit makes you superior… we all have our times and processes and no one knows the condition or health status of an overweight person.

“So if you see someone going through a bad time because of their size, love them very much and understand that you don’t know what they are going through. Maybe that affection is all you need to see yourself with loving eyes,” she concluded.

Many shocked users shared their reactions to Bon’s unrecognizable picture in the comment section and praised her new look as well as her message of body positivity.

"So proud of you, slay girl," one person wrote, while a second chimed in: "Wow. You really did good. Great job for yourself. Bravo."

"You are the one who should feel good, people will always criticize because they have no life of their own. You shouldn't give explanations to anyone keep succeeding, travel, surround yourself with successful and wonderful things you deserve it," a third user applauded.

She looks great!
