A widow has shockingly shared what she did with her late husband's ashes after finding out he led a double life filled with affairs.

Jessica Waite, from Canada, thought her marriage to her husband Sean was perfect.

But it wasn’t after he died in 2015 that his horrible secrets came out, leaving the essayist even more heartbroken.

The mom revealed in her book, A Widow’s Guide to Dead Bastards, that Sean tragically died of a heart attack while on a business trip to Texas.

As Jessica needed the number of a hospital in Houston that was holding his body, she looked at her husband's phone and instead found something more shocking in his browser history.

According to the New York Post, Jessica said that she started typing Houston into the browser, and it auto-corrected to the words “Houston escorts." She also found searches for escorts as well as their prices and locations.

But that wasn't the only disturbing revelation.

In the following months, the author investigated her late partner's double life and learned that he regularly saw escorts and cheated on her with numerous women.

She also discovered that he lied to her about having to work late, and was instead downloading pornographic videos to his personal computer, which were all categorized into different desktop folders.

Furthermore, Jessica found out that he had rented an apartment in Colorado, where he would have several affairs.

The writer opened up about how she struggled to come to terms with her late husband’s betrayals.

She recalled opening the bag of his ashes and putting them in her garden, where she mixed some of them into her dog’s excrement.

“I’ve desecrated the remains of my partner in life,” Waite penned, before adding: “But then, in despair and guilt, took more of his ashes - and actually ate them," per the New York Post.

"The remains feel dry against my fingertips, coarser than baking powder, grainier than salt. They mix with the teary water, a mineral mud on the back of my tongue. I swallow." she continued, confessing that she was “detached from reality in the wake of Sean’s death” at that moment.

Jessica, who is now in a relationship with a new partner, spoke about how she still thinks about her husband of 17 years.

“I feel better and stronger than before, but I still cry almost every day, and I still feel like a part of me has died,” she said. "Because the part of me that existed within Sean did.”
