A woman who spent £93 ($115 USD) traveling 82 miles for a Tinder date alleges she was told she was "fat".

Jade Savage says she spent over three hours traveling between Leicestershire and Peterborough for the date to be over in just five minutes. The 28-year-old claims that the man, who has remained unidentified, told her that she had "put some weight on" since their last date, four weeks earlier.

Five minutes later, she says, he dropped her back to the train station, after she called him a "pr*ck" for insulting her again. Jade has now dubbed it the worst date she's ever been on.

Now, size-14 Jade is seeking to recuperate the cost of her efforts, via a GoFundMe page.

Per The Daily Mail, Jade said, "I was chatting to him on the phone when I got to the train station, waiting for him to pick me up. That's when he said, 'F*** me, you have put some weight on haven't you?' I was like, 'No, you can't say that.'"

"It was clear he wanted to call the whole thing off but I still hoped we could have a nice time so we went to his car," she continued. "But he said, 'I can say it, it's a fact. You have put weight on, so therefore I can joke about it."

"I called him a pr*** but he then went berserk and said, 'You what, you think I'm a pr***?' He drove me back to the station and told me I had put him in a bad mood and that I had to go home.

"He then offered to give me the £90 travel money back and blocked me when I said yeah. Just want to make my £90 travel money back so I can buy wine and sticks of lard."

The incident left Jade so disheartened that she indulged in a £5 glass of wine at the train station, and it was then that she decided to set up the fundraising page.

"Date called me fat and got offended when i told him he was rude and acting like a pr*ck. So took me back to the train station 5 minutes later. He then offered to give me the £90 travel money back and blocked me when i said yeah. Just want to make my £90 travel money back so i can buy wine and sticks of lard [sic]," her GoFundMe reads.

"My mates were laughing with me, saying, 'You've paid £90 to go to Peterborough, be called fat and then get sent home.' It was the worst and shortest date I've been on," the care support worker concluded. "I see the funny side and that's why I did the GoFundMe and it's got £45 already, which I'm obviously very grateful for."

At the time of writing, Jade has raised £400 of her £90 target.
