Sam's Club is selling personal-size edible cookie dough cups
People have been eating cookie dough by the bucketful since the fateful day one lucky individual realized how tasty it is.
Now, it's a foodstuff in its own right (and seriously, you're better off eating the actual food instead of the mix) and is enjoyed as a part of a variety of other products (I'm looking at you Ben & Jerry's Cookie Dough ice cream!) or as a snack on its own.
And if it's the latter that's your treat of choice, you're in luck as Sam's Club is now selling personal-size edible cookie dough cups.
Why is this newsworthy? I hear you ask. Well, it's because until now, if you were feeling peckish and wanted some edible cookie dough, you were very much at risk of eating an entire tub. Now, you can restrict yourself to a more modest 3.5 ounces.
So far, the cups have had 10 reviews on the Sam's Club website, and if they're anything to go by, they're just as tasty as the normal-sized tubs, relieving an average of 4.6 out of 5 stars (I mean, no one, not even cookie dough is perfect).
One impressed customer wrote: "These are absolutely delicious! Perfect for a snack when you have a late-night sweet craving. It's just the right amount."
For clarity's sake, you shouldn't eat raw cookie dough because the raw ingredients can contain dangerous bacteria like E-Coli and salmonella - both of which, as tasty as they can be in this form, have the potential to be deadly.
So if you're looking to get a safe and only moderately indulgent cookie rough fix, these edible cookie dough cups are almost guaranteed to be a winner. They are available for purchase in-store and can be preordered on Sam's Club website.
