School talent shows are an old tradition, giving pupils the chance to impress their peers with a display of skill. Some people try out dance, some people opt for magic tricks.
But this week a high school student allegedly had the audacity to impress his fellow students in a unique way. Namely, by drumming a very NSFW tune from a NSFW website.
The video of the performance, which has since gone viral on social media, was first uploaded to Instagram by a user going by the handle @bitchylaughs.

The video seemingly showed a teenage boy playing the drums at his school assembly, only to briefly play the short jingle on the adult website PornHub when displaying the thumbnail for its community page. Although the teachers seemed bemused, some of the boy's classmates can be seen dancing ironically to the tune - obviously in on the joke.
When footage of the recital taken from a different angle was uploaded to another account on Instagram (and later to TikTok) it was captioned: "This kid got expelled for playing the Pornhub intro song during a school rally. Absolute bullsh*t! Tag 3 people and comment bullsh*t below. [sic]"
The publisher tagged an Instagram user going by the handle @francispacia and claimed that he'd been expelled for the performance. This post soon garnered over 990,700 views and 158,800 likes in three days.

However, many social media viewers appeared to appreciate the kid's performance (assuming the incident actually happened and the footage hasn't been tampered with) and swiftly took to the comments to say so.
For instance, one person going by the handle @hardnox wrote: "Think about the lyrics to songs played at the school dances...even if they're censored. Too harsh a punishment... bullsh*t. Is Rodger Goodell sending him a fine too? [sic]"
A new tick that allows people to tell if their friends and family have ever visited PornHub has gone viral on social media.
Audio that mashes upPornHub's introduction music with 'Redbone' by Childish Gambino is being used by TikTok users to test whether or not people they know are familiar with the sound.
The trick has become particularly popular with older siblings who want to discover whether or not their younger counterparts have ever visited the adult website.

The audio, titled "hey lol," was uploaded by TikTok user Khaleel Abdullah (@khaleel) on January 19.
The original video features Abdullah sitting at a desk as the animated PornHub logo playing on the screen.
Someone then walks into the room and the audio seamlessly switches to Redbone with the tell-tale image on the computer screen also disappearing.

In an interview with Distractify, Abdullah said that he got the idea for the TikTok from a video of a person watching the adult site only to have their mother walk in.
However, he never expected the audio mashup to become so popular that it would inspire a trend.
The drum and bass lick at the beginning of the audio is used by PornHub as a signature sound in many of its videos as the animate logo unfurls on the screen.
Other TikTok users began to turn Abdullah's sound into a challenge this month, with the premise that they play the music in the vicinity of a family member or friend and then watch their reaction to the opening part of the audio.

While videos of the trick have garnered millions of views, TikTok user @zaypelzer, admitted in a later TikTok video that he's "actually just gonna assume [the child in the videos] looks up bc he sees the camera's on him lmao."
However, sex educator Shafia Zaloom wrote for the Times that it is common for children to stumble across pornography (and seek it out) and that parents should have an open and honest discussion with them without judging about how it is now an accurate representation of sex.
A teacher is under investigation after she was accused by students of playing a high-pitched ringing noise in an apparent punishment for the class.
As reported by NBC 5, the unnamed first-year teacher is accused of playing a "dog whistle" YouTube video for 40 minutes. The video emitted a ringing sound that could only be heard by young people.
The Independent School District has revealed that the alleged incident occurred during one period of class at Leland Edge Middle School in Nevada, Texas, on March 2.
Officials also revealed that the teacher is no longer with the Texas district, per the New York Post.

Student Zoey Lohrs, who was in the class, told NBC 5: "She put on the ringing noise everyone was covering their ears. One of them walked out of the classroom, one of them was yelling that it was torture and one was trying to unplug the computer."
Lohrs has a documented history of migraines, which she says the school and the teacher were well aware of.
After one student reported the incident to the police, the teacher found herself under investigation.
"I would understand if the teacher used it for a split second to gain the attention of the class but not for the excess of 40 minutes. Not when kids are begging you to stop," Zoey's mom said. "I would really like her held accountable for her actions, this is not ok. You have my kid for eight hours a day. It's supposed to be a safe place."

Community ISD has revealed that the teacher now faces "possible" criminal charges, pending the results of the investigation.
The district added in its statement: "The District will cooperate fully with local law enforcement agencies and the legal process. While CISD wants to be as open and honest as possible, we cannot comment further on this matter until the ongoing investigation has been concluded."
An Oklahoma high school has spoken out after students were recorded taking part in a vile feet-licking challenge for a fundraising event.
On Thursday (February 29), Deer Creek High School in Edmond organized an assembly called Clash of Classes for the school's Wonderful Week of Fundraising.
The event was to raise money for the Oklahoma-based shop, Not Your Average Joe Coffee, which helps individuals with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities, as reported by Daily Mail.
The students had to pay to attend the assembly and freshmen through seniors volunteered to participate in a series of class competitions. No Deer Creek faculty or staff partook during the assembly, according to the district.

One of the challenges involved a feet-licking contest. Footage of the disgusting event was sent to FOX 25, and it showed Deer Creek High School students sitting down with their feet out in front of them, while the other participants lay on the floor of the school gymnasium and licked their peers' feet.
The clip was quickly shared on social media where many people came out in their droves to blast the school. One user slammed: "Jail. Seriously, who thought this was remotely ok? Where are the parents? Teachers? Gross," and another chimed in: "This is so f***ing wrong, please keep a watchful eye on what your schools are doing with your children."
"We just sold candy bars that I would eat and my Mom would have to pay for. This is weird as hell," someone else said, while a fourth added: "When I was in high school, we had rap contest and did car washes for faculty and passing cars, I can't even fathom on what this generation is on anymore."
An anonymous student spoke out about the incident to the publication, saying: "It was surprising...I didn't think they were going to do all that. I was just shocked. I didn't really have like a feeling. I was kind of disgusted, and then kind of glad I wasn't over there."
In addition to this, one parent opened up about the event, and said: "I am all for fundraising and all for really fun and silly things, but that right there just seems a little excessive."

As aforementioned, every student who participated signed up for the games they played ahead of time. No faculty or staff partook during the assembly, according to the school's district.
According to a statement released by the Deer Creek School District, the bizarre event managed to raise a mindblowing $152,830.38 for NYAJC - an achievement the district described as a "momentous accomplishment".
"Many dedicated students gave generously of their personal time to achieve this momentous accomplishment, which will serve communities beyond the boundaries of Deer Creek," the district said.
"We would like to thank all of the patrons, businesses, and sponsors who contributed to the success of this year’s Wonderful Week of Fundraising," they added.

Video footage has been released of a Florida teacher forcibly throwing a student out of his class.
The incident took place on Wednesday of last week at Buddy Taylor Middle School in Palm Coast. There, 47-year-old Jeffrey Paffumi removed a 14-year-old pupil from his chair and pushed him through a doorway and before throwing him down the hallway, the Flagler County Sheriff's Office said in a statement as per ABC News.
The footage was captured by another pupil using a cellphone.

NBC affiliate WESH reported that the pupil began playing music in class, and when he was asked to lower its volume by Paffumi, the 14-year-old refused. In response, the pupil's computer was removed before he was called an offensive name.
Later that evening, the pupil told his parents about the incident, and by Wednesday morning, it had been reported to administrators at the school.

The incident was described as "unfortunate" by Sheriff Rick Staly.
"As a teacher, you have to control your temper even when students test you," Staly said. "This is an unfortunate incident involving a teacher and a student. My daughter is a school teacher and I know from her how misbehaved some students can be, but as a teacher, you must deal with it appropriately. Corporal punishment like the old days is not allowed today."

Paffumi has now been placed on leave pending an investigation, with Flagler Schools Superintendent James Tager saying that his actions were not what the education body expected of its teachers, as per NBC News.
"I have stressed to my executive team the importance of handling this investigation with the utmost seriousness it deserves," Tager said. "I also understand a video shows only a portion of a particular incident, so this investigation will encompass the incident in totality and not just what was captured on a camera."
This is not the first time that the teacher has had a brush with the law. In 2012, he was charged with battery and arrested for criminal mischief in two separate incidents.
According to a sheriff's office spokeswoman, on Thursday morning, Paffumi was released from prison of his own recognizance.
Popular YouTuber Shane Dawson has come under fire for a resurfaced video of himself pretending to masturbate over a poster of a then 11-year-old Willow Smith.
In the clip, the then 21-year-old can be seen making the explicit motion while referring to Willow's popular song 'I whip my hair back and forth'.
Now, the 31-year-old has taken to YouTube to apologize for his past controversial behavior, including the video.
"This video is coming from a place of just wanting to own up to my s***, wanting to own up to everything I've done on the internet that has hurt people – that has added to the problem, that has not been handled well. I should have been punished for things," he said.
Dawson explained that he has tried to remove his controversial content from the internet, but it has been resurfacing elsewhere.
Prior to addressing the video of himself and the Willow poster, Dawson apologized for playing "stereotypes of Black people, or Asian people, or Mexicans, or pretty much every race." "I swear on my life, I am not somebody who would ever talk about a child, like in seriousness, I would never talk about a child in any way that is inappropriate," he said, addressing the video of himself pretending to masturbate over Willow.
"That is disgusting, that is gross, it is not something I would ever do. It is something I did for shock value or because I thought it was funny or like, 'Oh my god, my child molester character,' or whatever."
On Saturday, Jaden Smith slammed Dawson for sexualizing his sister when she was still a child.
He wrote: "SHANE DAWSON I AM DISGUSTED BY YOU. YOU SEXUALIZING AN 11 YEAR OLD GIRL WHO HAPPENS TO BE MY SISTER!!!!!! IS THE FURTHEST THING FROM FUNNY AND NOT OKAY IN THE SLIGHTEST BIT."
Dawson, however, has yet to respond to the Smiths' tweets about him.
This comes after Jenna Marbles released an apology video for her content that was branded racist and sexist and subsequently announced that she would be taking a break from YouTube.
Since Dawson posted his apology video three days ago, it has been viewed 11 million times and counting.
