The jealous girlfriend of a waiter has responded to a Yelp reviewer - simply because she left him a positive review.
Taking to TikTok, Antonia - the diner - explained that she and her friends had just left a restaurant in which their waiter had asked them to leave a review on Yelp and to mention his name, Ira.
Happily agreeing to the request, Antonia left a glowing review on the site, writing: "Love the atmosphere. Pretty good drinks, nice food menu. Ira? My king. Love you. Xoxo."
But just 20 minutes later, the unsuspecting TikToker received an angry message from none other than Ira's girlfriend, who was upset with Antonia's "inappropriate" review.
Check out Antonia's video below:The irate girlfriend wrote: "I saw your review for my boyfriend Ira and I don’t really appreciate what you said calling him your king etc. I felt like it was inappropriate and a comment about his services would have sufficed."
She added: "I don’t know if he gave you some kind of impression or was flirting etc. but I’d like to know. If not then if you don’t mind editing the review or writing a new one, that would be great."
In complete shock by the woman's exaggerated response to what was a pretty harmless review, Antonia responded: "Hahahahaha I wrote a review because they were all competing for the most reviews for the night. Nothing to worry about."
The girlfriend then went on to say that she wasn’t mad that Antonia had posted a review, but said: "It’s about how it was written and perceived". She added: "But if it’s nothing, I apologize and enjoy the rest of your night."
Commenting on the woman's bizarre behavior, the TikToker told her followers: "I didn’t want to be, like, you’re f***ing crazy, but imagine going on Yelp to look at your boyfriend’s restaurant, and messaging someone from a review within 20 minutes."
The video has since garnered hundreds of comments, with many deeming the girlfriend's behavior to be a "red flag".

One commenter shared: "I have never heard of someone monitoring Yelp reviews of their partner's workplace. Wow."
Another said: "She must have been typing 'Ira' and the restaurant name every 30 mins."
A third commented: "I hate that people feel that insecure. It's sad. Hugs to her. You never know someone's life/past/issues."
What do you think - has it been blown out of all proportion or do you think the girlfriend has a point? Let us know in the comments.
